Room cleaning is very good. Good food. Good service. Staff Ravindar kumar is very helpful. Stay was very comfortable and hassle free. Location is very convenient. Breakfast is very good and have variety of options. Airport is just 10mins away.

When I was looking for a day use room near the Delhi Airport, on our way to catch an international flight later in the night, The Ibis New Delhi Aerocity perfectly fitted the bill. The rates were very reasonable and given its location I booked it without a second thought. Later in my ALL dashboard, this booking began to be shown as a normal 1 night booking with an afternoon check in. So, I contacted the GM Bharat Gupta to which I received a quick phone call and then an email from the reservations team. They first recognised my ALL Gold status and confirmed our early check-in at 7 AM and check-out at 7 PM. Note that 12 hours is well beyond the duration for which day-use rooms are usually offered. In any case, the hotel was a short 10-12 minutes walk from the Aerocity metro stop and someone was there at the reception to check-us in that early. Although, we didn't qualify for the breakfast, we were given two drinks voucher as per our Gold status. The room we were given was really small in size and it was a rather tight fit for the four of us during our stay. There were two twin beds, but hardly any space in between, a working desk attached to the wall, a plastic chair and another red seat that was so low that at most a child could have sat there. The pigeon hole kind of window peeked out to an empty terrace with a partial view of the road. The airlines style bathroom was of a size where changing clothes inside was a challenge. Most of the room appeared to be rather shabby which also had an urgent need of upgrade. We availed our drinks coupon later in the bar where a very limited selection of alcoholic drinks were available (mostly beers) against the coupon. Then, near our departure time we started getting calls from the front office that we had overstayed our time limit and that we needed to check-out immediately. So when we actually checked out we decided to see the Front Office Manager Aarti Verma, who I remembered to have been copied all along in my emails. She unconditionally apologised for the incident and blamed it on staff training (or the lack of it) and to make up for it offered us a complimentary drop off to the airport. This was a nice gesture and our lasting impression of this hotel would thus remain positive.
