Good: - View is impeccable - Our Villa was wonderful- really the most beautiful room we’ve had in Europe (reminded us of nice hotel rooms in Thailand). - The cleaning staff did an amazing job. That’s about it. Points for improvement: - The food. Breakfast was really below par. - Restaurant food for lunch/dinner was very expensive and low quality. At this level of hotel, all of the food served should be perfectly prepared, and if not, don’t make it. - Service at the restaurants was not amazing. Sometimes better, sometimes worse. - The kids club / nanny service: the club offered a lot of arts and crafts, but I think we are used to the variety offered in kids clubs on Germany / Austria / Italy. The staff there was nice to our child, but there could have been more books and toys on offer. The nanny service was really not what we expected. It is supposedly external, but this is the solution the hotel offers for kids under 4- they can only be in your room or a back room in the kids club with slim to none options for enrichment. Although we requested this not be done, they just keep on giving him screen time.

Picturesque location and Hotel. The room was perfect, always clean and all could need was provided for. The food was superb with plenty of options and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Only a 10 minute walk from Benitses which was handy. Would 100% come back again

An enjoyable stay but with a number of let downs

Across the board not up to the standard of Angsana branded properties in Asia. Presents reasonably well but delivers an experience we would generally regard as 4 star minus and most definitely well short of 5 star. Main restaurant is used for buffet breakfast only. Service is reasonable but the quality of food available is sadly lacking in variety and range. For example, the juice offering is orange, or orange. Cereals are dispensed from Premier Inn type catering tubes. All cold meats and cheeses are processed and of average quality only. Coffee is poor. Two restaurants are good but challengingly expensive. The hotel is set high on a hillside above the main road between Corfu Town ( 11 kms) and Benitses (3 kms). The location provides lovely views whilst rendering residents largely captive. Taxi fares into Corfu Town and Benitses are €40 and €10 respectively. The hotel’s main swimming pool is not heated and, in early October, was perishingly cold.

+ Beautiful premises + Very generous (though expensive) room with view onto the sea. + Free parking close-by. + Friendly welcome at reception when arriving. - Staff by far not up to a 5-star-hotel. Staff would instead profit from a professional hospitality training. Despite few exceptions, staff does generally not make you feel welcome. Staff should become trained not to ignore but to greet guests, preferably even with a smile. - Rather unorganized staff for breakfast (buffet itself was nicely arranged and very comprehensive). Waiting time for 2 cappuccini up to 15 mins if not even forgotten. - Cleanliness of the room acceptable but not up to a 5-star-hotel (the peanut on the balcony found after check-in stayed there for more than a week and will probably greet the next guests too:-). - Tasty food at Oribu (Asian) restaurant, however roughly triple price compared to food in town. - While checking out, we were not even ask whether we had liked our stay or if everything had been to our convenience during our stay - a no-go for a 5-star-hotel (probably they don‘t care anyway?).

We had a most relaxing stay in Angsana Corfu. The team excelled in providing a wonderful customer experience, from arrival to departure. Nothing was ever a hassle and the team are only more than willing to help with requests. The views are stunning, no matter where you look, there are beautiful seas, mountains and we were blessed with blue skies and warm weather. Dinner at Sofrito was delicious and we enjoyed the daily breakfasts. It was a hard choice between the infinity pool and private beach, both were brilliant. I would love to come back again.
