An Amazing Honeymoon!

My partner and I just returned from our honeymoon and we both had a wonderful time and agreed that it was an experience that everyone must do at least once. We stayed in an overwater pool villa that faced the lagoon, the accommodation was luxurious, and we enjoyed sunrises and watching the wildlife from the comfort of our room. From the moment you arrive the staff are friendly and accommodating, after 30+hours of travel we were so relieved when we were pulling up to the island to see a welcoming party of staff that took our bags and gave us a tour of the island before showing us to our villa. If you are a foodie then Movenpick Resort Kuredhivaru is the place to go! More than once did we overindulge on the buffet which served restaurant quality food for Breakfast and Dinner. The restaurants on the island, Latitude 5.5 and Bodumas were both amazing also, with a variety of cuisines on offer. The barstaff were all very friendly, and happy to serve and recommend cocktails. I suggest trying the secret cocktail "The Summer Menace", this was recommended by wait staff and was one of the nicest and refreshing cocktails I have ever had. On the island the preferred way of communication is through the WhatsApp app, I suggest that if you are planning on going to this resort to have this app downloaded and ready so you can easily message your host. Unfortunately I was not prepared with the app, but our host Li was very accommodating even sharing her personal phone number so that we could stay in contact with her. Thanks Li! The activities on the island are great, we rented a kayak and paddled around the lagoon, we also hired snorkels and made us of the dive centre where we saw lots of wildlife! As it was our honeymoon, we were also treated to a Honeymoon dinner where we were able to have dinner on the beach, the view and food were beautiful. We also had the choice in a free activity, we picked the sunset cruise and enjoyed a cruise out on the atoll with wine and snacks. Overall, the experience was incredible. I would like to thank all the staff at Movenpick Kuredhivaru for creating such an amazing experience for us.

We have just had the most wonderful week at the movenpick in the Maldives. The hotel is beautiful and all the staff do a wonderful job on maintaining the island which looks absolutely gorgeous. Our room was lovely and the housekeeping team are brilliant. We had a wonderful island host called Shadwa who was fantastic and super attentive. The restaurants are delicious, with a particular shout out to Beral and Gihan and their teams - Shair at the restaurant. 100% would recommend

I am super well taken care of from the moment I landed Male Airport to the moment I departed. Felt the hospitality heart of every staff. Our assigned host was awesome and helpful. I can be totally enjoy and relax here. I would definitely recommend Mövenpick Maldives to anyone.

Amazing experience in Movenpick Maldives

The place is simply amazing, way beyond our expectations. The over water villa was beautiful, we enjoyed the view, the privacy, the pool and especially the blue lagoons, not to mention the countless fish we saw walking along the bridge, we could spend hours looking at/for them. The staff and the service were amazing too! Everyone is so friendly and attentive , it’s always interesting talking to them and find their nationality. Overall it’s an amazing experience we will never forget!!

Spa technician Wilan she did a fantastic job for Bamboo and Muscle melt massage, pressure is strong makes me very relax and comfortable. Strongly recommended! And host Ruksar she’s very professional too, when I ask any questions she always reply me in a second even is not workingtime.
