Don't stay here unless you don't want to sleep and don't need to feel safe

This hotel is full of very loud drunk people that pack rooms. The first night I was woken by loud screaming people below my room multiple times. The hotel had to call the police, yet the same people were in the room yelling and screaming again the next night. This seems to be a hotel in which the city places the unhoused and it brings a lot of problems and the hotel feels unsafe as well as being loud.

Unfortunately, people play up while they are away, whether that is from their hometown or community. This booking was done by a Corporation and they have been advised that those guests will not be allowed to stay in the future. The River Court Rooms were spacious and had a great view out over the Todd River bed. The hotel is well located within easy walking distance of shops and major attractions such as the RFDS, Women's Museum, Mega Fauna Museum, and Botanical Gardens.

Mercure is getting a littlr tired but is still a nice place to stay. Restaurant is friendly and food is good. Will stay there again when we return.

Rooms allocated was very nice however hairs was everywhere in the bathroom.Indian men wasn’t very helpful on checking in but an Asian woman sorry didn’t get to know her name super helpful. Overall it is amazing

Not sure if it was because I booked through booking.com, but the price for what you got was not aligned. I moved the last night to the Double Tree. Staff was very nice and helpful and the fully serviced restaurant was very good. The rooms were very outdated, toilet/luggage lift/patio lock were all broken. Did not seem clean and you could hear the bars from across the Todd. I just don’t think they have put money into the upkeep, which would be Ok if they charged lower than the high end places in the area. Not friendly if you have any mobility issues and breakfast buffet was below sub par. Also never thought I could get a bad coffee in Australia, and not the room coffee. Gates get locked at night, which is good, but also good to be aware. Pool looks like it would be nice.
