Good stay at the Pullman at JLT

I never met the General Manager, but good ones coach their people to make the cuatomer experience greater than the sum of individual departments. He or she seems to have accomplished that. From check in, Jack the bellman was welcoming and jocular about my number of bags (i was packed to leave Dubai). Liana at the front desk was warm and accomodating. The staff at the spa (i had tweaked my back the week before) were good natured, yet commercial minded, upselling me to a 2 for 3 deal in a fun and compelling way "Chrisma" ended up being my therapist and was friendly and professional and (seemingly) even willing to listen to my idle banter while she worked. Highly recommend her. Chef at omlette station remembered my order daily. The wait staff continued their prior conversations with me each day making me feel seen. Housekeeping person recognized that i used both provided creams in the room on the first morning and left extea the next day- good attention to customer detail rather than subscribing to any "2 cream inventory limit" that i see at some properties. Good work, crew! EVen the bar tender at the pool went out of his way to keep my savory snack bowls full! All in all,

Located in the JLT area, close to the beach makes it a quiet and restful place. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, friendly and professional, always ready to serve. The gym is surprisingly big, well equipped and with great views of Dubai Marina. I had a one night stop over, had asked for a room with best view of Dubai skyline. The hotel did their outmost to not only accommodate my wish but also upgraded my room. I got an excellent corner room, 1109, and spent the evening looking out all of the windows. I will not give minus points for the overwhelming smell of roses (?) in the lobby and hallway. It reminded me more of a restroom on Autobahn than a hotel signature odour. Nor will I give minus points for the slightly tired bathroom, it did have a bathtub with separate shower. The staff and the quietness made all the difference.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Check in handled very well Slight change of room for a better view was accommodated without question. Breakfast was more than expected. I really cannot emphasise how professional the staff went about their duties 5**** from me Even 20% off starbucks in the hotel ..added bonus for the early morning meeting.

A very smart selection when visiting Dubai . Conveniently located by metro (3' walk) , with very friendly and helpful staff , but also focused on sustainability by applying all measures for environmental protection .Highly recommended !
