Made a quick trip from SD for my birthday. Staff was so professional in a luxurious resort kind of way, they were so attentive and make you feel catered to. We stayed in the Bliss pool villa and it was GORGEOUS! Very earthy tones and materials throughout the villa which made you feel very connected to the land around. We opted for a sunset view but honestly the resort is located on top of hill and you can beautiful views from almost everywhere. The stargazing is amazing here which was my favorite part :). Expensive but worth it if you’re gonna utilize the amenities and looking for resort treatment. The only con is that it’s pretty far from any main road compared to other things/ hotels we’ve stayed in the past. We ended up cancelling our night time plans because we didn’t feel comfortable driving that far out at night on the dirt roads, but there was plenty to do at the resort so we didn’t mind! I heard they can coordinate transportation tho, so either way, great experience!

A Romantic Escape in the Heart of Valle

My girlfriend and I booked a last-minute romantic getaway at Banyan Tree Veya Valle de Guadalupe, and it exceeded every expectation. We stayed in the Serenity Pool Suite—without a doubt the nicest suite I’ve ever experienced. It was so stunning and comfortable that we honestly had a hard time leaving it. The hotel itself is set on the Pictorama Vineyard and Winery, surrounded by the rolling hills and beauty of the valley. While we didn’t get to visit the winery this time, we enjoyed some of their wines at the hotel’s restaurant, paired with some unforgettable tacos de lengua. The staff is incredibly attentive and thoughtful, even offering chauffeured golf cart rides around the property, which added a special touch. The pool is another highlight, with a spectacular view that stretches across the entire valley—simply gorgeous. This was exactly the kind of romantic, relaxing escape we were hoping for. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience the magic of Valle de Guadalupe in luxury and comfor

We had an amazing stay at Banyan Tree Veya. We visit Valle de Guadalupe often and this is by far the best experience we’ve ever encountered. The property is absolutely gorgeous as was the villa we were assigned. There is still much left to be explored; therefore, we look forward to staying there again soon. I would like to mention both Miguel and Esteban from reception, who were absolutely wonderful to work with. They truly went out of their way to assist us and to make for an amazing experience. Every single person who works there was incredibly professional and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back and experience this all over again! Thank you all so much!!

Not a magical experience!

My husband and I went on quick getaway to the Valle de Guadalupe and stayed at other banyan tree locations before and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, our experience at this particular location was not what we anticipated it to be. The resort itself is unique and is in touch with the natural surroundings. The breakfast that was included with our stay was absolutely delicious! If you are renting a car and you're keeping it at the resort, they do have a valet charge for each night that you are staying. The resort is built on a hillside, so anywhere you needed to walk it was a treacherous hike. We needed to call their cart to collect us each time we wanted it to go somewhere within the resort. The room itself was a great size and was tastefully decorated. Unfortunately, the lighting in the bathroom was inadequate. The two large mirrors that they had hung above the sink did not light up. I brought this to the hotel's attention, and it was never fixed. Honestly the mirrors looked like they were put together by someone in a garage rather than professional mirror with backlight. Their fireplace had a major flaw, I'm not sure if the chimney was not properly cleaned or ventilated. My husband and I decided to have a romantic night in front of the fire with a glass of wine and unfortunately 45 minutes into the fire we notice that the room started to smell like smoke, my husband's eyes were starting to burn. I immediately opened up all of the windows in the room and noticed that black smoke was billowing out from the fireplace itself. My husband was able to put out the fire as I called for the front desk to notify them about the smoke. The following day you could definitely smell the smoke in the room! We brought this to the hotel’s attention, and they sent down the maid to clean. Honestly, the maid cleaning the room really did not take away the smell that still lingered. Not to mention all of our clothes smelled like smoke! Unfortunately, they did not offer any other room as they explained that they were full upon our check-in nor did they offer any type of compensation for the inconvenience. They acted as if it was not a big deal. Attached are some photos of the lighting in the bathroom as well as the fireplace. I would definitely go back to the Valle de Guadalupe area but would never stay at the Banyan Tree again.
