Dear Jwjg, It was a sincere pleasure having you as our guest during your December 2024 visit. We appreciate your thoughtful comments and allowing our Trip Advisor family a little peek into your stay. I would like to just clarify that Hotel Ändra Seattle M Gallery is part of the Accor Hotel family and not part of Marriott Hotels. I can see how the "M" Gallery might make you think it's part of Marriott though! :) In addition, our beautiful Hotel Ändra is located in the Belltown neighborhood, not the Central Seattle neighborhood. Those are entirely two different areas in Seattle and I didn't' want our Trip Advisor audience to be confused. I was delighted to read that you enjoyed our location in the Belltown neighborhood! We are on the seam of the thriving retail core, yet also tucked in the vibrant, yet cozy neighborhood of Belltown. There is a plethora of art galleries, boutique shops, restaurants, and cafe's, all w/in walking distance. Our location also allows you access to Seattle's infamous attractions, such as Pike Place Market, Seattle Space Needle, and Amazon Headquarters / Spheres, all w/in easy walking distance. We often hear that our newly renovated guest rooms allow our guest to rest and recharge after a busy day of exploring and I'm happy to read that you enjoyed your King room. I was sorry to read that our new elevators where not to your liking. We just finished a complete restoration and renovation in our elevators including adding "smart" motors, new rails, cables, guides, brakes, software, interiors, and everything in between. Indeed, they are as fast as legally allowed in a 10 story building. But I know you didn't stay here for our elevators and was happy to read that overall you enjoyed your stay. We did intentionally keep soda machines, ice machines, and vending machines off the guest room floors and added Honor Bars to all guest rooms where you can simply enjoy the convenience in your room and the items will be added to your final billing upon check out. Guest are able to retrieve ice in prepared bags just as you step off the elevator, from custom made ice bins. This keeps the "clunky" machines and the noise off the floors. The cold filtered water filing station was installed as a request from guests who wanted to refill either the purchased water bottle from their guest room or their own personal water bottles. Again, we kept the clunky station off the guest room floors to minimalize noise and unwanted gatherings. Our partners at Lola Restaurant are delighted to be of service to you for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Enjoy a hearty made to order breakfast and then take your coffee back into our living room (aka lobby), sit by our substantial fireplace and read the morning paper, or cozy up to our Loft overlooking the living room and watch the bustling activities out on 4th avenue. Our goal is to make our home, your "home away from home" when visiting Seattle. Please do not hesitate to reach out directly when you are planning another great visit to Seattle.
