Bel hotel, mais accueil à fuir! Mal accueillis; réceptionniste de service tres désagréable; pas la moindre volonté de nous aider sur des problèmes pour recharger voiture hybride alors que le parking est payant (15£/nuit) :” c’est un tiers, débrouillez vous!”….. Ne nous a pas prévenues de la fermeture du restaurant a 21.00 ; du coup obligés de faire un uber eat… Heureusement la barmaid était tres serviable, aimable et sympathique Première expérience aussi désastreuse dans un Mercure . J’ai regretté avoir influencé le choix de l’hotel

Please accept my sincere apologies for the service you received at check‑in. The attitude you described and the lack of support regarding the hybrid car charging are not acceptable and do not reflect the standards we strive to deliver. I will be addressing this directly with the team to ensure we provide better assistance and clearer guidance in the future. I’m also very sorry that you were not informed about the restaurant closing time. Clear communication is essential, especially when guests arrive expecting to dine with us, and I understand how frustrating it must have been to have to order externally. This is certainly not the experience we want any guest to have, and I regret that this stay led you to feel disappointed after recommending the hotel. Thank you again for your feedback, and I hope we can welcome you back for a much improved stay.

Shocking communication

Absolutely shocking communication. I’ve booked to come here with my family during February half term and booked the zoo offer which is advertised as ‘including breakfast and 1 day entry into Paignton zoo’ .. I booked 2 adults and 2 children. Upon reviewing the booking confirmation it states that only 2 adults get into the zoo. This isn’t listed anywhere at all on their website that children included in the booking need to pay extra. I’ve emailed for clarification - twice - and used the online contact form but have continued to be ignored. It would be cheaper for me to book a different hotel and pay entry into the zoo additionally however the booking is non refundable. Trying to contact someone is impossible and when I ring them I’m just left on hold.

Cuisine EXCELLENTE, personnel intentionné, chambres tres confortables, Seul point négatif trop de chiens dans l'hôtel ..(25 pendant notre sejour, on aurait dit un chenil) c'est un peu trop pour un Hôtel de ce niveaux....

Zeer slecht ! Wij waren 5 nachten in dit hotel. De laatste 3 nachten heeft men in de kamers niet geweest, wij moesten zelf onze handdoeken verversen. Na verschillende klachten aan de inkom kregen we steeds te horen, we hebben te weinig personeel, wat onze rekening niet maakte. Zelf drank halen en zelf afruimen. Dit hotel verdient geen goede beoordeling. Wij waren er met Carolus en die zijn met zo een slecht hotel ook klanten kwijt. Een goede raad blijf daar weg. Bij klachten is de manager steeds weg, praten tegen de muren. Geschreven door lammetje.
