It’s OK, although now branded Ibis Budget the legacy of Travelodge is still very apparent. Friendly reception staff, totally disinterested restaurant/bar staff. There are only two lifts which is not great at the best of times but currently only one works so queuing and waiting part of the experience. Beds are comfortable and room decor nice enough.

Charged twice for the same stay, after 6 months, not refunding back my money!! Avoid!!!

This is the worst hotel I stayed in. I paid for my stay successfuly at th checkout in December 2023 but hotel charged me agin for the same stay in June 2024 (240 GBP). It's been almost a month and I haven't received my money back. Hotel is not responding to my emails and blames it on 3rd party card processing company. Poor communication, poor custoimer service, avoid!!!!

Last visit to the hotels we where disappointed by the lift out of order

Use this hotel knowing that the lifts will not work, it will be very busy, and you need to to order in food if you want any thing tasting as most bar meals are ready band but lots of food good locally so jusy go oo and buy something they fancy and all will be luch

I stayed in this hotel in December for one night and cleared all the payment as soon as we arrived at the hotel. However 2 weeks ago the hotel have taken money from my account again. So i rang them and spoke to a receptionist who wasnt very helpful they said they have got a problem with the system and i will get my money back. Still havent got a refund and the hotel is not willing to help
