invoice 2792 I have always chosen Ibis hotels because the chain is reliable, however the branch in DELFT is new, and they need to provide the same standard as all the other branches. This means, they need to have proper HEATING and make sure that it works for the guests when they leave the room in the morning and come back at the end of the working day in the evening. Instead, it did not work and I was freezing cold in the morning and at night. One of the people working at the reception gave me a second duvet, and I slept wrapped like a pig in blankets. Second problem, the threashhold of the door is raised, making it a TRIPPING HAZARD. There is no warning that the threashold of the door is raised and I tripped, hurting myself. When I brought my concerns to the front desk they did not put any hazard tape to alert people of the tripping hazard. Luckily, breakfast was very good and the hotel was clean and spotless.

Be prepared to squeegee the flood in the bathroom. I thought it was a mop left by cleaning but I was mistaken. In talking with my colleagues they all received a mop as well. The drainage in the hotel does not exist. Unfortunately guests are forced to deal with a flooded bathroom and try and mop it up.

The bed was very comfy, it’s spacious. But I’m not fond of that minimalist trend, like the quarter-size door in the shower, no closet, microwave, fridge, etc. 5 Euros per hour if you need to check out later than 12. Finally, the crew is ok, not the friendliest but not rude.

Staying in this hotel right now, highly recommend you do not stay here unless you enjoy being cold. Claim they are eco friendly however management (Anita) no where to be found no on-site management for 4 days and staff who can’t make any real decisions. You can’t have heating they don’t allow it apparently eco friendly lol more like cut backs. Maximum room temp of 21 however sits at 18 degrees in reality, I have a health condition and find my health is affected and I will be taking this complaint to head office and beyond. Lazy housekeeper’s who barley clean Your room, bed sheets not changed( let me guess eco friendly) on top of leaving dirty bed sheets they don’t even make up the bed it’s appalling. This hotel wants to charge you in full while acting like a dictatorship and claiming to be saving the planet. The manager sounds delusional and hopeless at running a hotel needs to be sacked ! This is a business providing a service but missing the service part. I can’t leave and get a refund I’m being forced stay and suffer I will certainly be taking this all the way to be refunded.

The management team is not present in the hotel 24/7. The reception team is well-equipped to handle and resolve issues and complaints independently for our guests. Our team did make an effort to assist you and we regret if the resolution did not meet your satisfaction. Regarding the room temperature, we regret that we cannot make significant adjustments; it is automatically set to a maximum of 21 degrees, which is considered a comfortable average temperature for the hotel rooms in our hotel. Our housekeeping cleans the rooms daily, though bed linens are not changed daily. If there are many personal items in the room (on the floor) or on the bed. The housekeeping ladies does not tidy up personal items and leaves them where they are. As a result, they may not have the opportunity to make your bed. We offered to cancel the remaining nights of your reservation free of charge and provide a refund so that you could find alternative accommodation. However, you did not choose to accept this option and decided to stay with us anyway. We would like to apologize again for the inconveniences and for now we wish you a very happy New Year! Our first time in Delft. Stayed with family & friends (3 rooms, 4 nights). Excellent location right beside the train station. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, w very good staff such as Anabel at the front desk who gave us lovely recommendations on which places to visit & eat at. Suggest that additional lighting be added in the rooms, and that the drainage in the showers be fixed for quicker water flow.
