Overall the hotel and location were fine. I specifically was in search of a 4 star hotel for a one night stay for a medical trip/specialist appointment for my daughter. It is my understanding that one of the requirements for consideration of a 4 star hotel is that they have 24/7 room service available. Our plan for our stay was to order room service for breakfast prior to our doctors appt to make sure our little one didn’t get hangry before her early morning appt and to make sure we were punctual. Well, they only have room service available 5 days a week- not on Monday mornings, completely defeating the purpose of our planing and intent at staying at a 4 star hotel. Had the hotel been TRANSPARENT about this, I would have selected a different hotel. I am not pleased and will never be staying at this hotel chain again.

We clearly missed the mark in communicating our COVID changes to you. While a hotel does not have to offer 24/7 room service to keep a 4 star rating, our normal operating services is to offer Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner to guests for both Dining and Room Service. Unfortunately during the pandemic we have been forced to reduce our hours to a Tuesday-Saturday Dinner Only service. This should have been listed on our website and I deeply apologize that it was not communicated to your sooner. I will reach out to our team to ensure it is clearly written when booking a room that we are running with limited service. We truly apologize for the experience that you had, and we hope you will return to us in the future when we are offering our full amenities again so we can show you a wonderful visit. Terrific 3 night stay. Great location and having a $10/day parking garage across the street was a big plus. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful! The only reason for 9 and not 10 was because the restaurant, Savoy was not open Sunday due to reduced COVID hours. We will stay there again.

Well located, easily accessible to downtown, unique hotel with amazing staff (both at the front desk and in the restaurant). Did not try the food in the restaurant, but all the drinks we had were delicious. The museum was great to look around and made the first floor more interesting than any other hotel I've been in. Our room was located on the fifth floor and somewhat close to the elevator, only downside was hearing the hallway traffic in the mornings. We slipped up and arrived one day before our reservation, hotel staff made the quick change and was able to get us a room. Will definitely stay here again.

I went to the hotel for my 2st birthday. I had called that week (ab 5 days before) inquiring about a late checkout. the lady on the phone told me it could be done, but to ask that day to ensure it was possible. On the day in, i asked once again, and the receptionist told me they wouldn’t know until the next morning. what’s the point of offering late checkout then? it was also disappointing because before arrival we were not informed about the restaurant and bar being closed as well as the mini fridge in the room being COMPLETELY empty, there wasn’t even a bottle of water. our room also had a strange smell coming from the drain and the windows were completely frosted. the museum was cool i guess, but i basically spent $200 tour a museum for one night. i’m super disappointed, i wish i would’ve spent my money somewhere else.

It is great to see that you enjoyed the museum, however I apologize that the rest of your stay was lackluster. We clearly missed the mark in several aspects of your stay. I apologize about the late check outs not being better explained. Due to some of our new Health and Safety protocols during the pandemic, we cannot guarantee late checkouts until the morning of departures due to room availability needs. We are happy to grant them when requested the morning of departure when possible however, and again I apologize that this was not clearly explained. I will ensure to use this as a training example for our team. I do also apologize for the mini bar and restaurant being empty/closed. Due to the pandemic, we have been forced to limit our restaurant hours to dinner only from Tuesday through Saturday. This should have been notated on the website, and I will be reaching out to our Marketing Team to ensure that we have this clearly marked. In addition, the mini bars have been emptied to prevent a "touchpoint" during the pandemic as well, but we have separate mini fridges available upon request if needed. I also wanted to make sure that I apologized the room description was not clearer. Our Deluxe King rooms types are non-view rooms that face an internal atrium, so they have frosted windows. We do have rooms with a view, and this upgrade option should have been offered to you so I will speak to the team about this as well. I am deeply sorry for the experience that you had as we also want to ensure our guests have great stays, and we are disappointed we could not provide that to you. If you decide to give us another chance, please don't hesitate to reach out so we can ensure that you have a truly fantastic experience. Upgrade not what we expected

We upgraded to a Corner Room, "filled with light and city views" from windows on 2 exterior walls. Well, the windows were close to adjacent buildings and frosted, so there was certainly no view but not even any light. The furniture, while stylish, was hard. It would have been nice to have a throw and a pillow or 2. Also there were no cups in the bathroom, only 2 paper cups with the coffee maker. Given that, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the Savoy Restaurant was wonderful.

The art experience at 21 C is so interesting. We spent time before and after dinner at the Savoy restaurant going through the galleries. The staff at the front desk were, without exception, pleasant and helpful. Then menu and food at the Savoy were diverse. We enjoyed seeing the film about the 21C owner on the television in our room. We have stayed at several 21C hotels in various cities and it will always be our first choice.

The room obviously had not been cleaned or refreshed with new toiletries, towels, robes, etc. When I asked the front desk to have someone clean the room, she sent up towels and toiletries only. Additionally, the TV did not work. When I asked about that, I was given a lame excuse that "sometimes they don't work" and "a few aren't working right now". No engineer was sent to the room. Housekeeping did not make up our room. They just left towels. This is my second stay at your hotel, and I am on schedule to stay there in two weeks. If you don't fix these problems, I will look for somewhere else to stay.

Unfortunately, we are currently only offering full Housekeeping Stayover Services every 72 hours (or the 4th day) during the pandemic in order to protect our guests and housekeeping team. I took a peek at your reservation, and it looks like you should have received it on the final day of your stay. I do apologize that this was not only not communicated to you, but that the service was missed on your final day. I will be sure to share this with our Housekeeping department to ensure we are not missing guest service after 72 hours. We of course are still offering deliveries of all amenities, such as towels or bathroom soaps, 24 hours a day. We are currently working on the television issues that you experienced, our Engineering team was made aware and are monitoring the situation. I apologize again that we were not able to fix this issue during your stay, but rest assured our Engineering team is working with our television providers in order to find a solution. We want to ensure we can provide the best service at all times, even during the pandemic. When we stayed, the restaurant was closed, in-room dining was unavailable, in-room mini-bar locked and empty. Half the reason for staying at 21C is for the amazing service. I'm left wondering what I paid for.

We had an absolutely blast staying here. The employees were so welcoming and very fun attitudes. We were able to come and go easily. We ordered from ClusterTruck for some of our meals and ate in our room. Highly suggest this option. Super convenient and really yummy.
