Terrible check in experience. It took us an hour to be able to get our room key. Reception staff were slow and seemed lost. Not recommended in high season.

Stayed at the Movenpick in Marrakesh recently which was a fabulous stay so decided to book the same for my Saudie Arabia trip to Madina however I wasn’t impressed at all with this Movenpick . I stayed in a quad room which was not so bad in size however it has a very small bathroom with a very low toilet. I didn’t like the idea of having to order a blanket etc online as even after several requests I didn’t still receive them.Breakfast was average. The food is spread out awkwardly so it’s abit of a pain looking for what you want.

Dirty moisty rooms too expensive not nearly worth the prices terrible service they don’t deserve this great location if they don’t fix up the hotel worst room experience water is at cold and will burn your skin

Pretty much Everytime I leave the room my key stops working. It's an incredible failure on the part of a hotel if they can't get their keys to stay active to give their paying guests proper access to their rooms. I am traveling with two children and always need to stop at reception even if kids need bathroom because we can't risk the key not working and wasting more time going back down to reception and back up. Next time, I'm staying in a different hotel. I have been here three times already and this time was the last one. It's an utter failure of management that they can't fix the most simplest of things: accessing ones room.

Although the hotel is perfectly situated right across from the Haram, it is in serious need of some TLC. for a quad room for the week cost us just over R10k a day. The room was small for a superior quad room. The room is tired curtains tearing and couch tearing. The bathroom is a pigeon hole with bathroom sink looking disgusting with mould on the inside. The toilet is right below the towel rack and you can't open the bathroom door fully as the toilet is in the way. The kitchenette is non functional. Stove doesn't work . The most annoying thing of all is the service is deplorable. Quad room with 2 cups and 2 towels . Have to ask everyday for towels and then wait 2 to 3 hours. Not booking here again!
