The Beginning of Our Tour Group

We were part of a Trafalgar tour group which used this hotel for the start of our trip. The location near the airport made it perfect. We had read several past reviews about the hotel which did not paint a good picture of what we were expecting. However, we had a wonderful experience. We arrived early and had anticipated having to wait for our room to be ready. Alice, the person who checked us in, was very professional and got us into our room immediately. Weather was unexpectedly warm, but we opened the windows to room and were comfortable. We would have no issues in recommending this hotel for anyone. It was very clean, well situated and the food was good.

This is advertised as a "4 star premium hotel". We weren't expecting a 2 star experience with outdated rooms which lacked air conditioning, not even air circulation. The staff was friendly and happy to assist, but they couldn't resolve the issues. We were given a mini fan by the janitor. We asked for another room, it was full. The next day we got another room but there it was the same. After moving to yet another room with the same issue, we gave up. Funny thing is: when you enter the lobby, everything is cool and smells nice. Nothing compared to the rooms where the guests actually are staying. The showers in the various rooms all had limescale and were leaking, so it seems structural.

The rooms were outdated and lacked air conditioning, relying solely on air circulation, which made enduring the heat extremely challenging. Despite offering a hotel shuttle service, it was often at full capacity, resulting in lengthy wait times for the next available ride. While the staff were friendly and eager to assist, their options for resolving issues were limited.

Hotel staff great. Nickola, Ramadan, at check in very good, and Freida bus service in dining room especially good. Also outside dining at Le Chalet very good. Food,service, Manager Eugene especially good! Front desk staff great. Very helpful.

I rated this 4/5 because the hotel is okay but when you take a shower, it takes time for the water to drain. Also, I saw there were lip prints on the glass meaning the glass was not changed. I just placed water in both glasses hoping they will be replaced but after the cleaning service, the glasses were still filled with water. They have an airport shuttle every 20-30minute and it's free. If you need to go to a grocery, there's one in the airport and you can avail the airport shuttle to go there. The beds and comforter were separate placed together for couples but could be adjusted. Breakfast was okay. They had the best scrambled eggs so far in all the countries I've visited in Europe but it was not served the next day.
