We enjoyed our stay at Movenpick for the activities & the beach. The breakfast was enjoyable & Tropicana restaurant had great chefs who know how to cook good food. The staffs & buggy drivers were very friendly too. Only thing is that we’re not sure why our rooms were split up at the beginning of our ck ins & were required to pay an upgrade to be in the hotel with our other family who booked the same room online. The Condo we were in was dated & needed to be refurbished. We transferred to the hotel building which made our stay more comfortable.

We had three nights at the Movenpick in Cam Ranh. Our stay wasn’t great. Generally across most areas of service, the hotel seems to be both understaffed and staff are under-trained. Our meals on nearly every occasion took between 30-60 min to arrive. Our daughter has a seafood allergy and when we specified a chicken dish it still came visibly contaminated with seafood after 45 min. Basic service expectations were not meet; being shown to a table at breakfast, having our plates cleared, being provided with napkins at meals (when asked for them, we got one that had a hole in it), the breakfast buffet was a complete shambles with crowds and limited options, house keeping did our rooms at near 3 pm in the afternoon. The beach is mostly unswimmable (my daughter was called out of the water by staff when she was knee deep), we had two rooms that both had significant window drafts and a hot water pressure problem in the shower (I.e takes around 5 min for the water to heat up). Many things you would expect not to pay for you had to pay for; all kids activities and equipment and hire-age of sun lounges around the main pool. This hotel is probably OK for families with young kids that don’t have too high expectations.

First and foremost, we are deeply concerned about your daughter’s seafood allergy experience. This matter has been escalated to our Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams for immediate review and corrective action. We also regret the prolonged waiting times for meals, the lack of attentive service during breakfast, and the shortcomings you experienced across several touchpoints, including housekeeping timing, table service standards, and overall organization during peak hours. Regarding the room-related issues such as window drafts and hot water pressure, as well as your comments on beach conditions and chargeable services, we truly appreciate you bringing these to our attention. These concerns have been shared with our Engineering and Management teams for further investigation and improvement planning. While we understand your final comment that the resort may be more suitable for families with lower expectations, we want to assure you that our goal is to deliver a consistently high standard of comfort, safety, and service for all guests. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us identify where we have fallen short and where we must improve. Once again, we are truly sorry that your stay was disappointing and did not reflect the experience we strive to provide.
