Positiv: Zimmer sing gross für japanische Verhältnisse, Bahnhof Kyoto in der Nähe Negativ: Bett ist unerträglich klein, selbst in Japan hatten wir schon größere gehabt (auch klein), faules und unfreundliches Personal, absolute desorganisation

We are pleased to hear that you appreciated the room size compared to typical standards in Japan and our convenient location near Kyoto Station. At the same time, we sincerely regret that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the bed size, room setup, and service. We truly appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. Regarding your reservation, we understand that you booked a twin room with two single beds for two adults, along with two children sharing the existing bedding. In such cases, it is standard that one single bed may be shared by two guests. Please note that our bed sizes are in line with standard specifications, and detailed dimensions are available on our website and booking platforms. For guests traveling with children, especially depending on their age, we would recommend considering a triple room for additional comfort and space. Subject to availability, we are also happy to assist with room type changes at the time of check-in, and even after arrival, our team will do their best to accommodate such requests whenever possible. We would encourage guests to feel free to contact our front desk at any time for assistance. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the insufficient number of towels and any shortcomings in service and organization. Schöne Eingangshalle und sehr höfliches Personal. Aber: Zimmer ohne Fenster, keine Möglichkeit Wäsche zu Waschen, kein Bad, jeden Morgen lange Wartezeiten (10-20 Minuten) beim Eintritt zum Frühstück und dann noch einmal gleich lang vor der Kaffeemaschine. Zu wenig Personal beim Frühstück, gebrauchtes Geschirr stapelt sich auf den Tischen (deshalb die langen Wartezeiten beim Eingang)

Regarding the room, please allow us to clarify that all of our guest rooms are equipped with windows; however, the view and layout may vary depending on the room type and location within the building. We also offer rooms on higher floors with more open views, and we would be happy to assist with such requests based on availability for future stays. With regard to laundry facilities, while we do not have self-service machines within the hotel, there is a coin-operated laundromat conveniently located nearby. In addition, we also offer a laundry service where items can be entrusted to the front desk and sent to an external provider. We also sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during breakfast. As we are currently in a high season period, the breakfast area tends to be busiest between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, and we do provide guidance to our guests regarding peak hours. That said, we fully acknowledge your comments regarding waiting times and table clearing. We are currently reviewing our staffing allocation and operational flow to improve this experience. Thank you as well for bringing the cleanliness concerns in the breakfast area to our attention. This is certainly not up to our standard, and we will address this with the team immediately.
