Perfect location for a luxurious stay on Cat Ba. Our room had a wonderful view overlooking the beach and a very comfortable bed. We ate dinner a couple of times in the hotel restaurant and the food was perfection; - the staff were all very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Uyen at reception for her excellent English and her help with arranging our transfer back to the airport.

This is a really beautiful hotel. We've just spent 4 wonderful nights relaxing and enjoying the facilities and the incredible surroundings. Gorgeous rooms, views, pools. It was so nice to eat breakfast each morning under the fans of the veranda. We ate on one night in the hotel restaurant - Indochine - and we're disappointed there are better options in town. The g & ts are great on the rooftop bar or around the downstairs pool bar. Don't hesitate to book.

Most amazing location, very comfortable beds, good food, courteous, friendly and helpful staff specially at the reception. Food was great and the sound of the sea in the room was ecstatic. We will surely want to come to this paradise again and again

To start with as soon as you step in the architectural and ambient with glamorous smell kick you to the right place! Then leave yourself to the reception who look after you like a family member (thanking Thanh Tam). You will be surrounded with 360 degrees of unique view. I’m not gonna spoil it for you …

Lavish, but with some shortcomings

The stay was successful. The hotel is beautifully located and offers many amenities. The breakfast buffet (especially Mr Tan's pancakes) was delicious. The half board dinners were also very good. A drawback was the cold water at the pool located on the ground floor of the hotel. We also disliked the bathroom, which offered an unnatural shower and bath arrangement. The sink was leaking but was repaired. The bunk bed for children was a hit. The staff were friendly and helpful, but with a few exceptions it was difficult to communicate in English. Unfortunately we felt that communication with us was avoided, but overall we were happy with our stay at the hotel. The nightmare was the ferry crossing to Cat Ba, which took two hours each way (disastrous organisation unrelated to the hotel).
