Located in a very upmarket area a few minutes walk from the sea front. We had one night there as we were getting a flight up to Johannesburg. Beautiful decor, lovely food. We stayed over the road in the annex building. A bit strange but our room was really amazing.

A very nice hotel at a central location in Summerstrand. The hotel is a good stop for transit or to spend a couple of days in the region. It is close to the promenade and also within easy reach of the airport or the N2. There is a restaurant and a Spa. Definitely on our list when visiting this part of the country. There is safe parking and the staff is very friendly and acommodating.

Strange place ! - Checked in after figuring out where reception was as this place seems be spread over a few buildings with not much signage. After going in to our room, tried to use the room safe and followed instructions to no avail. When receptionist came to the room, she also tried with no success and found the instruction card was for a completely different safe. The bed light was hanging off the wall.. This is for a supposed 5 star hotel. Breakfast was lovely and the manager did come over to apologise for the inconvenience caused the night before.. Apology accepted

We stayed here for two nights in late June at the start of a three week road trip around SA. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel makes reference to some rooms being in an annexe, which is where we were. I was a bit unsure about the arrangements but it was perfect. In essence, the annexe is a very large three bedroom villa across the street from the main building. Each bedroom (actually, it is a suite) is massive, very private with en-suite facilities and an outdoor private patio area. There is a shared communal lounge area with dining facilities and an other pool. Ideal for a family travelling together and requiring three rooms. The main hotel has about ten rooms, so it is not a large, impersonal place - quite the opposite. The decor is Africa meets Art Deco and is beautiful. The food is high quality and the staff take real pride in their customer service. There is another larger pool area at the main building and a terrace for seating. We have stayed in Port Elizabeth a few times and this is definitely the best hotel there!

Spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel as a family of 4 (2 teenage kids). Rooms were great. Nicely decorated, very spacious and clean. The food at the restaurant was good and we enjoyed an evening watching a movie in the cinema room. Staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend this small hotel to anyone travelling through PE.
