I travel to Albury 2-3 times a year to visit my mum in a nursing home. I stay at the Mantra Albury every time as it is centrally located, clean, comfortable, and I feel safe and secure there. The restaurant and bar onsite is also great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Needs better access to a Pet Toilet Area to be truly Pet Friendly. Great location and really good service but lacking toilet facilities for dogs - my only complaint and something that Albury Council could help with by providing access to the open area outside the pet friendly rooms, upstairs on Floor 1. Having to get up through the night to take our dog down the elevator and around the block in the heavy rain, did not make for a relaxing stay.

Well located fairy new hotel

Everything within waking distance of a hotel- shops, cafe, restaurants, museum, botanical gardens … Rooms are not not big but fairly new. Bathroom with a rain shower was very good. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Our requests were promptly attended to by a manager . I would suggest that the Buffett breakfast should be improved - the offering are limited and not very pleasant looking. Avocado and barista made coffee should be part of the menu. Otherwise a very pleasant stay .

Good Hotel but... please fix the TV system

As Accor Live members, we are regular visitors to the Mantra when visiting Albury. Great location, (some) very good staff, adequate parking & OK for wheelchair accessibility. Having spent a large chunk of my past 40 years travelling, my basic must haves (apart from wheelchair access) are a clean comfortable bed, hot shower & fully functional TV. This time around the Mantra Albury only scored 2/3. Sure it's a first world problem but travellers are justified in expecting to get what they pay for in their tariff. Only a small number of TV channels worked & those that did were a bit glitchy. Clearly the hotel system needs a re-tune which should not be all that hard. As we were staying a couple of nights, I raised this with reception but was left lacking confidence they took my complaint seriously. So I emailed the hotel's GM, Mr Maddumpatabendi, via the hotel's generic address. A young gent called me & was polite though offered no solution. I asked that my email be forwarded to Mr Maddumpatabendi & am yet to receive a response. We have to return to Albury in a month or so but will call the hotel first to find what is & is not working.

Lengthy review but great overall stay

We had the pleasure of staying in an executive studio room which was stunning! Overall great sized room for our family of 3. Nothing was dirty and overall house keeping kept up with our daily cleans which kept the room looking spotless at all times. I do recommend that the rooms have maybe a QR code to a hotel information site or even a few laminated or framed pieces of paper with what’s around Albury, how room service works, etc. just everything about what’s what at the hotel. We found this pretty unusual and somewhat annoying that the hotel didn’t have anything info wise as 90 percent of hotels offer you an info pack about the area and the hotel services. This left us calling the front desk daily about room services since we were out late but I’ll touch on this further into the review. Our check in process was okay! Checked in with minimal issues although I do wish we were given a run down of the hotel once we checked in. Usually when you check in to a hotel staff will tell you what floor you’re on, your room number, location of the car park when you purchase a parking spot and so forth. But we were just given a key and pretty much left to figure it out. We had to ask where to park but that’s all small things and not a bad thing. Parking was 15$ a day. That’s pretty cheap considering most places charge 25-30$ nowadays for secured parking! I was happy with this and even happy with the parking. Breakfast was great! We didn’t find it too bad and we always managed to go when it wasn’t too busy. SKYE from the bar downstairs during breakfast time was an absolute legend. Not only was she serving customers, checking people into the breakfast bar but she was always cleaning tables and never once looked sad or stressed. She was also amazing with my daughter offering her marshmallows and so forth. Incredible! The District Restaurant has food that makes your mouth water. The food here is incredible with a reasonable price! Well done to the chefs and crew for having such outstanding food! By far out of all the hotels we’ve stayed at and tried there food, this is by far the best. Carbonara was absolute delicious. Very creamy and rich and the steak was phenomenal! My daughter even smashed all her chicken tenders! She never usually does that. It’s just a DAMN shame that the bar is only open Monday to Friday. We found this heart breaking but understandable there maybe reasons. I just thought this was a missed opportunity considering most people would probably order on a Saturday night after a couple drinks or so. We were so sad that we could only eat this food on the Friday since we left the Monday morning, when it was due to open Monday night. We rang Saturday night and Sunday night hoping to get it for room service but to no avail and told we can use Uber, DoorDash and Menulog to get food which was okay! We didn’t mind that. But I mean.. who only has room service available for weekdays when you could make a killing on weekends right? But in saying that I believe there is probably a reason and I understand that. Overall the stay was beautiful, rooms were amazing and seem freshly refurbished. Staff were always friendly when we seen them and always had a smile. The cleaning team were amazing during our stay and always kept our room clean. Unfortunately we didn’t get to dine in the restaurant but we ordered it via room service and it was amazing the food! Parking was secure and limited amount which puts my mind at ease knowing there will always be a secure place to park my car. Overall happy with the stay at Mantra Albury.
