Very Comfortable Stay and Great Breakfast

Stayed for one night due to a work event. Receptionist very friendly and accommodating allow me to check in early as I had an early start. Organised car parking as well for small fee, room was clean and comfortable. Very comfortable stay overnight and then buffet breakfast to set the day. Overall great stay and will stay again.

What a wonderful hotel! My son and I are travelling between Sydney and Hobart and booked the Mantra hotel in Albury for our mid journey stop to Geelong for one night. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and kindness. Paula was absolutely wonderful offering a space in the loading zone for our van to be parked as it was too high to enter the off street parking space available near the hotel. This was such a welcome offer as my son had all his worldly goods in the van and was fearful of leaving the van out on the street. On arriving in our room we had been kindly upgraded as diamond members but with only the one king sized bed. On returning to reception Paula was apologetic and without hesitation offered my son a room on another floor. What a treasure she was to do so. It made our stay all the more memorable having had such a beautiful welcome. I was very impressed with the kindness shown by Paula! On speaking to Florence when seeking the answer to a question at reception a little later I once again found a smiling, happy and engaging young woman who was only too happy to help with my query. Thank you to both Florence and Paula who have made our stay so pleasant. We dined in the wonderful District Dining room on the first floor of the hotel which was excellent. Havana, Jonathon and Greg were all very kind and helpful, with our meals being excellent. We were able to use our ALL ACCOR discount which was much appreciated. Thanks must go to the fabulous kitchen staff who produced such outstanding meals for us. This is a fabulous hotel in Albury and one which we would return to without hesitation on any future visit. Thanks must also go to the management who kindly provided a welcome note and bottle of wine as members of ACCOR. This is certainly a most wonderful place to stay for anyone looking to have a rest stop between Sydney and Melbourne. Thank you again to the management and staff for a level of service that went above and beyond what we had expected

So I had cause to do a long business trip and chose this time to drive and see the countryside at the same time I booked into mantra online. The price seem reasonable but I wasn’t sure what I was likely to get. I normally stay in. Let’s say more salubrious hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. The girl at the front desk was excellent attentive eye contact listening to what I was saying and helping each time. I had suitcases which I parked my car underneath which was good. Brought it up to the room and when I open the door I was surprised at how small the rooms are. I had a large suitcase with me and another small bag but the rooms are very clean quite modern and neat and tidy as well No water was supplied or provided , so you need to bring your own. Thankfully, it was winter. It’s pretty cold out there. But I will say this the room I had would be only suitable for one person. I had to use the floor to open my suitcase. The area provided was simply too small and if it was a couple with multiple bags you’d be in a problem. . So please think about that if you’re booking, I’m sure they have bigger rooms but take that into consideration That the restaurant downstairs was very good. The waiter was very good but the guy running the show down there was arrogant and look like he wasn’t coping with stress very well. Other than that I recommend mantra to stay and no I’m not paid by them or anything like that.

Needed a place for a business trip and this place did the job. Budget breakfast food options were pretty limited but rooms were clean and a decent size. For some reason I just couldn’t get the temperature control in the room right and there was a misunderstanding at check out where I was overcharged but that was rectified when the error was pointed out on the spot.
