Peppers Christchurch was a beautiful stay, so serene and relaxing and so stylish, as with every stay I enjoy at Peppers. I loved booking with a human whilst multi tasking, for best use of time as the stay could be fine tuned to suit teenagers. Definitely my first choice in accommodation, every time.

Rooms need maintenance.

Rooms are tired and need maintenance. Light bulbs faulty in lounge & kitchen making it quite dark at night when wanting to cook. Cobwebs and dirty windows. Paint peeling in stairwell. Weeds growing on patio. Outside rubbish bins overflowing. Requested late check out for the following day which was granted. Next day, access card had been cancelled before later checkout time. Once remedied, had a phone call saying I was overdue for checkout. Frustrating experience. Will find another hotel/resort next time.

When you drive in its so lovely and looks like it's going to be lush, Room we were allocated had enough space for us and everything needed to make it comfortable. However the windows all had mold on them and the curtains in the lounge also, not a small amount either approx the bottom 30cms of them, I actually wanted to take them down amd wash them myself because you could smell it, when I booked I had asked if there was any issues with mold or must etc due to travelling with two people that have asthma I was told absolutely not??????? Yeah well. The outside table was not cleaned or chairs even put round the table cushions over the ground and garden area needed weeded These things are all down to cleaning and ground care other than that the place is actually would have been all good Also I've never stayed somewhere that uses 2x single bed duvets on a king bed? Side tables and stools at end of bed old smelly and stained aswell. We stayed so many places over the last few weeks and were looking forward to staying here, unfortunately the cleaning part was a massive let down for you guys hence the 3 stars. We would love to come back next time we visit but please really focus on getting these basics right.

We only stayed one night and didn’t experience much of the resort. However the room was very comfortable and clean. The lake on the property was a nice addition. A bit of a drive from town but good for people who like to stay away from the cbd. The lady at the front desk was most helpful and friendly.

Having been badly let down on accommodation we needed to book something quickly Peppers appeared to suit and the staff were very helpful and we were on our way to them . Made very welcome when we arrived and our room is up stairs but has fabulous view over the lake with a private deck . Room was clean and inviting Eat at the restaurant and it does have a limited menu but it was a good meal served by helpful staff . The outside areas are well kept and the whole place is restful After our nightmare with original booking this was just what we needed Thank you
