Superb location right by the ferry port and main bus terminal (although no noise or any related issues). Overlooking the stunning marina and a short walk to some restaurants. We were really lucky to get an upgrade on arrival to simply “the best” room / suite / apartment I have ever stayed in, in my entire life!! No exaggeration. Really helpful team and amazing breakfast added to this 6 star experience. When on Magnetic Island the bus service is amazing ($1aus day ticket) and the marked walks are a must. The Forts Walk brought us into very close proximity to koalas in the wild. Loved every minute.

Restaurant was way overpriced and average service. Paid $40 for the special of the day, mushroom gnocchi. Communication was challenging with the waiter. Wouldn’t bother again.

Convenient but avoid the Studio rooms facing the car park.

Peppers is very convenient to the ferry and buses and getting around Magnetic Island was easy and fun. However we had been warned that the Studio rooms ‘faced the IGA car park’. That is an understatement. We found ourselves in a ground floor room, with the balcony right on the footpath and on a direct line from the vehicle ferry which meant every time the ferry docked we got a lot of traffic (some of which was heavy) coming off the ferry. Also the bus terminal is right outside the ferry terminal and buses met every ferry meaning a parade of buses spewing diesel fumes went past at least once an hour. Throw in the general traffic in the IGA/ ferry terminal car park and this meant the balcony was virtually unusable with very little privacy and we had to sleep with the door shut and aircon on for security. So my advice would be to pay extra to upgrade or at least insist on a room on a higher floor! The room itself was tired (broken furniture and a sofa so low, it was an effort getting up and down from it). Also some cleanliness issues... the sliding door between the bathroom and the bedroom was very dirty around the handle and when slid open, the side facing the bathroom had smears of black mould. I wiped this off. See attached photos.

Dropped in for happy hour drinks. Sat on balcony overlooking marina. Variety of drinks were well priced at happy hour. Staff were friendly and drinks delivered quite quickly

Complete rubbish and over $500 per night .......... a scandal My two bedroom apartment is completely different to the 'luxury' apartment shown in the photos on the website. For example: The lounge room is largely missing of furniture and what there is, is nothing like the website. Coffee table shown on website - missing - no coffee table at all. Side table - missing - no table Entertainment unit under tv shown - missing !!. Luxury Lounge - replaced with an ancient couch Lounge Chair - missing. Replaced with the middle seat of an old sectional lounge suite - with no arms !! Rug - very, very second hand. It is also up 4 levels of stairs from the car park. No lift. 30 degree heat. No fun for those with lots of luggage . And what a view !! The back wall of a liquor store .......and a desolated cement waste land.
