We stayed for five nights in a two bedroom mountain view suite. We have stayed here each year for a number of years for our annual ski holiday. We are a family of two adults and two older teenage boys and the suite works really well and is very spacious. It had a lovely outlook of the mountains and also through to the lake. The soft furnishings have all been tastefully upgraded since our stay last year making the apartment look more modern. We really like this resort!

Location is great and the rooms were spacious (if you're looking for an incredible bathroom, the tub was incredible and the bathroom was the size of a studio apartment). The lake is a 1 minute walk away, the hot springs are a 3 minute drive, and the space observatory center is 1 minute away. Besides the great location and beautiful views, the service was mediocre. I suppose this place is fine for a quick stopover in Tekapo.

Excellent place for a family stay in Tekapo.

Excellent place to stay in Tekapo. We were upgraded to a lake view villa owing to Accor Gold status and this was excellent. The villa was spacious, warm (which was a bonus as the temperatures outside were sub zero), and came with those magnificant and excellent views. The two bedrooms have built in wardrobes, and the bathroom a shower and a bath. Excellent villa for a family of four and I would definitely return. Where the place lets itself down is on the maintenance front (hence 4 stars and not 5). Minor things like heaters not working, lightbulbs blown, and tired and worn out kitchen equipment. All were resolved promptly once we raised them, but for a quality resort, you shouldn't need to raise them. We ate in the restaurant for one night. It was very good quality food but you need to book as tour groups use the place so the kitchen gets busy. It's a good steady option and catered for dietary needs with knowledge.

We had a wonderful experience at Peppers Bluewater. The hotel is beautifully located right in the heart of town, making it easy to explore everything Lake Tekapo has to offer. There was a small issue with our room configuration upon check-in, but the management handled it exceptionally well. They were attentive, responsive, and even offered us an upgrade to make things right, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a fantastic stay – comfortable, relaxing, and with top-notch service. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tekapo
