Receptionist called me to confirm payments but didn’t inform me that they have limited parkings and also didn’t book parking for me in advance. Soup wasn’t there in the room, I asked a lady at reception but she didn’t bother to give it in our room. I also asked that aircon is in hall and it’s really hot in room around midnight so if they can give me a table fan if available, she said that she will check but never bothered to inform me back, room phones were also not working. Overall a bad experience this time, nothing like other mantra properties where we stayed previously.

Dear 959sachinn, Thankyou for taking the time to leave a review of your stay at Mantra One. I'm sorry it did not live up to expectations, and wanted to address a couple of your concerns. Firstly, parking is unfortunately very limited and requires pre-booking with the property directly. While you may have spoken to someone regarding payment it was not reception at the hotel. We do advertise on our website the number that must be called or an email to use, to pre-book parking. We also call all guests the day before arrival to check any requests, I can see that we did call you but did not receive an answer. The phone outage we experienced was unfortunate but I'm glad that we were able to provide an alternative number for guests to contact us on if they had any issues or requests. I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the room fan and soap and will follow up with our team to ensure that all requests are being actioned promptly. As you can see from our other reviews, we are complimented regularly on our high service level, and I am sorry if we fell short on this occasion. Room was enormous, with washing machine and dryer included in the room we had. Beds are comfy, however no daily service so you need to ask for fresh towels if/when required. Location is very central with around a 5-minute walk to Salamanca wharf area.

Very spacious apartment , close to the centre of town and the historic wharf area. The staff were great very friendly and accommodating. They have onsite parking which is a big plus, as we hired a car. I highly recommend this hotel!

Polaire suite ok but nothing special

Polaire suite overhyped - lots of lovely accommodation in Hobart and this is not amongst the great or even the good. Very noisy fridge in the apartment which was really intrusive and would have prevented me sleeping if I hadn’t found a way to turn it off . Poor value for money

Great customer service and perfect location in reference to where the other family members where staying for the wedding. Bed was super comfortable and room was awesome. A short walk to the famous Saturday Salamanca Markets, pubs and restaurants. Only little problem is that the carpark does not accommodate for larger Utes and cars.
