Basic hotel with convenient location in the center of Hobart. The Hotel has everything you basicly need to stay a couple of days there. The room was small but cozy and clean. Various and tasty breakfast.

Relaxing stay

Great location and walkable to most Hobart attractions. Room is small but well equipped and very clean. Very quiet and no issues with airconditioner which was extremely quiet. Tea and coffee supplied daily along with housekeeping . Would definitely recommend for a stay.

Tiny room and terrible Layout

Booked a standard queen room and because the hotel was busy I got put in the smallest room in the hotel. Terrible layout, small desk which is not suitable to do work on and a tiny tv. Spoke to staff at reception who were very unhelpful. Last time I stayed here, the room had a better layout and was larger which is why I booked here again. Will stay somewhere else next time

My family always enjoyed staying at ibis Styles Hobart because the staff were great in the past, but this third stay was really disappointing. I brought my sister with me for a holiday, and our experience at reception completely changed how we felt about the hotel.. The lady at the reception! I believe her name was Amy?? was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Her attitude made it feel like we were bothering her just by asking a simple question. It wasn’t even busy that day we checked in.. it was later in the afternoon.. I asked for SkyBus details and she abruptly told me to “just look the times up online,” with no effort to help or engage. It was shocking, especially coming from front desk staff who should be the most approachable. Completely unacceptable behaviour and not what I would expect from a hotel I’ve stayed at multiple times. It really ruined our first day. I strongly suggest she receives further training on customer service and how to speak to guests…. i hope she doesn’t speak to others the way she spoke to us…
