Great location on the main strip with beautiful sea views. Make sure you are higher up. The apartment was comfortably furnished and the kitchenette is good to cook small meals. The value was also very reasonable. My only complaint is the check in experience. As an Accord Plus Gold Member, I would have thought it is common sense not to allocate you a room on the lower floor with a view on building works whilst they were renovating the pool. I also was expecting a call for an earlier check-in which never happened.

Great location and position to numerous cafes and shops. Staff welcoming and friendly at arrival. Rooms very clean and had all required facilities. Bed comfortable. Hotel parking available and secure. Had to step over high spa bath to get into shower was the only negative.

Great stay, good location, great ocean view. Parking was a breeze unlike some other hotels. Great service at reception both early in the day when we were given the key to access car park even though our room wasn’t ready. It may the rest of our day less stressful as parking in Maloolaba is a nightmare on a Sunday

This hotel is nice but it let me down on several occasions. Firstly after telephoning the reception for details prior to booking and then taking to the website to book as per their instructions I was surprised that information was not relayed on the phone that should have been prior to booking on the website. I booked for a five night stay in October 2024. I was not advised when i called about details of the hotel that the outside pool was going to be under repair and not available for the whole of my stay and it was not until I had paid the full amount that i was advised the pool was not available by email. There was a no refund policy and I was advised that there was a small inside pool that could be accessed. The inside pool did not look clean and looked very tired. There is no welcoming to this pool area and no windows to look out of, no plants and absolutely an uninviting area, very few chairs as well and the whole time i was there i saw a total of 5 people in the pool When i booked i booked a superior ocean view room, the room on the internet is not what you actually get, totally different. I was placed on the 11th floor which was a nice view but there was a round spa bath in the bathroom which had the shower over it. There was no non slip mat provided and I had requested that the shower be a separate area not to be over a bath as I have a knee injury and would find it difficult to climb into a shower over a bath all the time. The bedroom was right inside the door as you opened it from the hallway and you walked past it and past the bathroom and kitchen into a living area that overlooked a balcony and the beach and foreshore. There are no curtains in the living area only timber shutters that slide open like the double glass doors onto the balcony. The balcony had a glass top table and two chairs and the balcony was roomy enough for two adults. The chairs are ok for short stints but not for a comfy book to relax and read. The kitchen was small with a very small fridge. There was a small amount of utensils for cooking if required. There is no table and chairs in this apartment only two stools placed at the end of the kitchen bench. The apartment was clean however there was no spare toilet rolls and I had to ask for some which should never happen in any hotel, and I had to collect from reception, no offer was made to bring them to the room. There was no pen and paper in the room and there was no manual to read relating to the apartment. There was a QR code on the key brochure that you could scan for details, but I had placed that in the rubbish and had to retrieve it not knowing that was the procedure, nothing was explained at reception regarding the QR code it was only after ringing reception that i was told of the QR code. The pool outside was under repair and maintenance and was very noisy from very early morning for three of the five days i was there. Jackhammers. The bed was comfortable enough but the pillows not so much, there was extra blankets available in the cupboards if needed. The hotel is situated on a corner behind the shops and has access to Cole's through the reception which was handy. Street noise was busy until late each night but tolerable. I would not stay at this particular hotel again, for the price there is plenty like it and in just as good a position if not better, and my expectations of the Mantra were not meet by a long shot. At $316.00 per night it was not cheap and I feel that things could have been a lot better for this price. The staff at reception were helpful and kind. Mooloolaba is a great spot and I think on this occasion the hotel let my stay down and offered no compensation for the pool outside nor the shower concerns and then tried to charge me $20.00 an hour for a late checkout.....my flight home was early afternoon and i requested a noon checkout. I met several people in the lifts coming and going and all were disappointed with the hotel..

We had 3 lovely rooms at the Mantra Mooloolaba last weekend. The rooms were spacious, had great amenities and incredible views of the ocean and inlets. The location is very convenient with numerous cafes and restaurants right outside the hotel. Staff were very helpful, and their is underground onsite parking. We didn't use the pools, but they looked lovely. The prices are fair, and we will be staying again.
