Booked in on a recommendation. Car park out front and we’ll sway from room. No elevator. Toom on 2nd floor. Trainee checked us in. In hindsight he was the best employee there. Room nice. Shower needed a repair as water spurted everywhere snd as a bloke the toilet seat needed to be held up whist using it making it very difficult. Meals. Ha. Ordered for 7pm. Meals came out 725 pm cold. As a chef I could see that the meals were left for a while before making it to our table. After trying to address the problem we received a refund for the meal but too late to order anything else so ordered a pizza from a local business. No urgency, no care. Avoid. Drinks are at a premium price too, even at happy hour.

Great Value for money. Room was nicely renovated and clean. We did the buffet breakfast which was good and convenient - given that we were one of the first done there, the food could have been a bit better and warmer But the overall value was all the staff was absolutely fantastic. All of them Interacted with our toddler and made her day especially Jude in the morning and the afternoon restaurant manager - unsure of his name but they were incredible Would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Mantra Club Croc in April 2024. We enjoyed the restaurant for all meals and drinks around the pool. The room was comfortable and clean. All of the staff were so helpful and assisted us in everything we needed. Would definitely recommend.

Check in was a breeze and the staff were brilliant. The buffet breakfast was cold and the staff struggled to keep items stocked in peak times. The rooms have been renovated, and look great. The cleanliness of the room and the corridor / stairwell outside the rooms is terrible. Each day, housekeeping had a vacuum cleaner out, however it must have been broken as they certainly didn’t use it. The corridor and stairwells were covered in bugs, dirt, clumps of hair and rubbish. It’s like the rooms were swept out into the corridor and that’s where it stayed. Please Mantra, use the vacuum and clean the corridors and stairwells. You walk all of this into your room which makes it very unpleasant.

Reception staff were amazing check-in was smooth and they helped arrange a couple of surprises for my wife’s 50th that we were celebrating. The room was immaculate, obviously not long renovated, clean, fresh and inviting. Well appointed, spectacular view from the balcony. Unfortunately the furniture on the balcony left a lot to be desired, a simple metal frame, I guess you would call it a lounge or a chair. I say unfortunately because with some nice furniture the balcony it would be the perfect spot to sit and relax with a morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. I know this is a personal preference but we found the bed far too hard, there was nothing wrong with it and the pillows were fluffy and comfortable I just found the bed too firm. Although the TV said it was an android TV and it had the Netflix apps on it, there was no way to connect it to the wi-fi and when you tried to open Netflix it would not let you so for all intense and purposes the TV in the room is not a smart TV, it does allow you to cast to it but this can be a bit glitchy if using the free wifi but it is ok. The bar and restaurant, getting a drink order especially during happy hour can be quite a slow and painful experience. The bar staff were doing their best they just couldn’t keep up and it was taking up to 30 minutes between ordering and getting a cocktail delivered. When they did finally arrive they were very good cocktails they just took a long time. The food we had from the restaurant was great, we had a pizza one night it was really good. Breakfast: The food that was there was good and when the buffet finally was replenished the variety wasn’t too bad but the trays in the buffet were left empty for extended periods even though the restaurant did not appear to be overly busy, this was an issue on the two days we had breakfast there, so much so that even though we had paid for breakfast on our final morning we actually skipped the buffet. So all in all some positive and some things that were not as good as I would like but not really too negative just things that would have made our stay that little more pleasant, and yes we would go back and are looking forward to another visit in the future.
