Clearly the feedback provided in past posts hasn’t been acted upon and they don’t really care. I now read the responses with the standard ‘well do better, blah blah…’. Forget it. It’s just copy and paste. On entry to the room, there was a smell of old socks. It’s evident that their policy of ‘no housekeeping’ contributes to this. I only discovered this after returning from a day out on business to find towels not replenished. I’m tidy and don’t go to a hotel expecting to be cleaned after, but towels ? Where else do they go ? If I knew there was no housekeeping I wouldn’t have left them in the bathtub to be changed. No recognition of platinum status. No room upgrade. No ability to use welcome drink vouchers (which Accor pride themselves on). I do expect a response of ‘ you got a small bottle of wine?’…. as an Accor member, that’s given, as well as the drinks at the bar - It’s all part of the Accor experience. Oh and No breakfast… restaurant is closed for good. Wasn’t told that one either… When you’re a loyal Accor member, more is expected. I stayed at an ibis styles the week prior and that was a dream compared to this one.

We understand your frustration regarding the restaurant closure. This decision was made due to business reasons, and the restaurant will remain closed until further notice. We have updated the ALL app and our website to ensure this information is communicated clearly to all guests. We understand your disappointment, and it is disheartening to hear that these aspects of your stay fell short. I booked a one bedroom with full kitchen and washer and dryer. My room was a big corner one bedroom. Room is not serviced during my 4 nights stay but that is ok. Reception is nice. I also got an early check in and a bottle of wine as recognition of Accor Plus member.

불이낫는데 로비에 직원도없고, 방에 탄내때문에 잠을 못잣다. 체크아웃할때 말했는데 그냥 별일아니라는 식의 대응이였다.

La prossima volta in Sydney scegliero' un Hotel in centro perche' i treni qui sono lentissimi! E poi ci lamentiamo di Roma. Comunque non eccellente ma va bene per quattro amici insieme! Considerato i prezzi di Sydney qui va benissimo e a Chatswood se vi piace l'asiatico sembra Chinatown!

The main touristic attractions are in the city, whilst Chatswood is only a 20 minute train ride away some guests do find being further from the city is ideal for a quieter stay. Mantra Group does have three other properties within Sydney City Centre. Mantra 2 Bond Street which is a 5 minute walk from iconic Circular Quay area. Mantra Kent Street in the heart of the city, close to Darling Harbour and the city centre and Breakfree on George a good location for entertainment, Chinatown, shopping and many more attractions. questo hotel è utile se come noi si viaggia in auto e non si vuole una sistemazione in sydney centro...chatswood è una zona molto carina...ci sono palazzi di uffici, ma anche un bel centro pedonale con negozi e posticini per mangiare...stupendo il teatro con annessa biblioteca, giardini, caffè...il mantra ha camere in un palazzone proprio davanti alla bella, moderna e comoda stazione da cui in una decina di minuti arrivi in centro nella massima rilassatezza! comodo parcheggio sotterraneo che vale la spesa! se si pensa a quanto costa parcheggiare in sydney e dintorni!!! 4 $ l'ora in riva al mare..ma anche 7 a bondy!!!siete avvisati! la nostra camera era buona, pulita...niente di speciale...troppe 4 stelle e mezza! anche il bagno era senz'altro pulito, ma veramente "alla buona" con rubinetti di bassa qualità. comodo l'angolo lavandino, frigo, microonde..per chi volesse prepararsi qualcosa.. c'era anche un balcone, ma impraticabile in quei giorni essendoci un cantiere proprio lì sotto e quindi rumore fin dalle prime ore del mattino...sarà una bella piazza lì sotto quando i lavori saranno finiti ed anche il mantra ci guadagnerà! prezzi del ristorante assai elevati ..i vini soprattutto...va bene che con l'euro quest'anno non si doveva venire in australia, ma che prezzi!!! noi abbiamo letto il menù e abbiamo optato per un altro luogo...
