Nickel pour un low cost. Mention speciale pour la petite jeune à l'accueil le samedi 7 soir. Elle a géré avec patience et professinalisme pour son age une situation compliquées : un groupe avec des reservations incomplètes, qui reclamaient une reduction "sport" à 32€, entre autres.

On débute par une réservation faite par avance par moi -meme client carte accor all. L'accueil est froid et on me demande meme une empreinte de carte bleue car comme me l'annonce l'hotesse d'accueil "certains clients ont fumé dans la chambre et à présent on éxige des garanties au cas ou...Donc je comprends que on fait "payer"des bons clients , les faisant passer pour des "vandales".. Nous récupérons la clef et un grand désordre régne dans le couloir (13) ou à chaque porte ouverte de chambre une monticule de draps sont déposés à meme le sol , dans la chambre je remarque un lit fait à la va vite bien que le reste soit propre. Une douche m'annonce que les variations de températures de l'eau me brule la peau. A notre départ le lundi 09/12/24 vers 11h j'oublie mon gel douche que je récupére 20 minutes plus tard et constate avec que la chambre à été refaite avec des lits correctement réaliés. Je déduit donc à mon départ que ma carte accor all ne m'a servie à rien .. Je reste décu de la prestation en générale.

Un bon hôtel peu onéreux mais il ne faut pas regarder en détail...

L'hôtel est bien situé, à deux pas de la gare et entouré de restaurants sympas, mais il est impossible de ne pas se rappeler que c'est un Ibis budget! La propreté de la chambre n'était pas du tout satisfaisante, cheveux un peu partout au sol, dans la salle de bain, toilettes mal nettoyées. Les draps étaient propres ainsi que le linge de toilettes. Le petit-déjeuner était très limité mais pour ce prix il était satisfaisant. Le personnel était très accueillant et serviable.

The Ibis Budget Saint-Etienne Centre Gare Chateaucreux is very convient location-wise for Saint-Etienne's train station. We were greeted warmly by staff, who spoke both French and English which was good for my non-French speaking counterparts! Our family room was tidy and compact. Our room consisted of a double bed, a single bed that you had to pull out from a cupboard, a television, and of course, the bathroom. The only issue we had with the room was the shower, as it was an open shower, so we kind of created a small flood of sorts, not drastic at all, because of the quite slow drainage system. It was around a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the town centre, however, you could hop on the tram from the station.

Good rooms for short stay / business trips. They also have an option to add breakfast during your hotel booking. They serve continental breakfast in buffet. For lunch & dinner you need to go outside as there is no restaurant in this hotel.
