First thing we were given at Check-In was a price list, on our Premium All Inclusive Honeymoon. And it was downhill from there. Our disappointment is immeasurable, and our Honeymoon was ruined. We were "Premium all-inclusive" - but had to pay into the only proper restaurants (Azzuro and Funa), 45USD per person, to experience a limited menu. Lamb was 99 USD extra for 2 lamb chops, steak was +200m USD - drinks in the restaurants you have to pay into, also additional 65USD for the cheapest Rose. We felt obliged to try both, as the other restaurants (Kuedi Pool Bar and Kaani) were so bad. I watched a bar man walk from the Kuedi Pool Bar, to Funa restaurant (45USD per head) and deliver the same BATCH MADE cocktails to me that I was getting at the Kuedi Pool Bar and Kaani Restaurant (which isn't a restaurant, its a daily themed, overcooked self service buffet that tries too hard and delivers too little) - and then saw 18USD charges on my bill. At the pool bar, there were two menus, with some cocktails, presumably the non-batch made, being charged at 38USD a drink - AT AN ALL INCLUSIVE RESORT?? What exactly is inclusive about that? Bar stopped at 11pm every night, and if they run out of the BATCH MADE cocktails before then, tough luck - they won't make more. I was told Pina Coladas were done at 10:30pm. There can be over 230 staff on the island, with no island accommodations. Get two mixologists to make fresh cocktails when you are charging 2k a night. I know the cocktails were batched made as due to the Pina Coladas being "Done for today sir". Some of the charges for activities: Night Fishing - 650USD an hour, per person - no guarantees of a catch (understandable in fairness) Snorkeling - 275USD an hour, per person. Jet Ski - 105USD per 15 min, following another jetski or speedboat operated by staff as the lagoon has too much traffic to allow guests any autonomy - too many seaplanes, delivery trawlers (an eyesore) or shuttles to and from the Island to the Stilted Villas. I don't recall seeing these prices on their website; rather when we arrived. You can Windsurf and Sail - and while understandably you have to be tested for your personal competency to limit the "Resorts" liability - guests had to PAY 30USD NON-REFUNDABLE. I had to pay the resort, on top of 2k a night, to show them I can sail, and its non-refundable. Money Hungry and Embarrassing. If money is evil, then this place is hell. I've never in my life come across greed like this - the prices are outrageous in any context - but in the context of the service standard, the food clearly cooked from frozen, the batch made cocktails, the charging for drinks that are included in one bar and walked to another at inflated prices, the tired rooms, the minibars with no alcohol unless you pay extra, cant take drinks to your room at 11pm when the bar closes - all under the banner of "Premium All Inclusive" The strategy is clearly not built around repeat business - and it shows. They know its once in a lifetime trip and have adjusted their strategy to reflect this, and try to squeeze every last cent out of you. We are well travelled, and we can experience far great service, luxury, food, activities, rooms, minibar etc etc in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Caribbean, Western Seaboard USA and Canada, Japan, Australia, Tanzania, South Africa, Morocco, Kenya and Namibia for FRACTIONAL costs and in most cases, fewer flights and flight hours and as a result, costs. The final nail in the coffin; my new wife, at checkout at 7:55am, was asked if she would like anything else before we boarded the seaplane. She requested a coke zero as it was a warm and humid morning (standard in the region to be fair) and she's not a great flier and this would help with motion sickness. The reply she received - "Its chargeable as its before 11am". Disgraceful. I have more anecdotes in this vain, but I'll let my wife use those in her Review. We were ransomed from the moment we got there; till the moment we left. I will be telling everyone to not only avoid this place, but all like it in the Maldives. I cannot understand how its so popular given what we experienced.

Visited for a week and was most glad to do so. Stayed in an in-ocean Villa and loved it. Could swim out to the ocean reef daily and see something different every day. Besides tons of different types and color of fish saw a small shark and a large turtle. The resort has great choices to eat and drink but the restaurant in the ocean with the villas was a great choice. Staff was friendly and always pleasant especially Shammu! Look forward to coming back another time.

Unforgettable!

We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect and the hotel team did an awesome job. Special thanks to Imran, Totti, and Afzal for making our stay extra memorable. Exceptional thanks to Sumith for being a true super star! We would love to visit again!
