A beautiful beach holiday paradise

Velavaru is a very beautiful island resort. We loved it and will definitely consider returning. We’ve been to the Maldives 10 times (7 resorts) now and this was the best we have experienced. We had a beach villa, which suited us perfectly - well appointed and our own, very comfortable, sun beds on the beach. The beautiful soft white sandy beach goes all the way around the island. The free daily snorkel trip around the well preserved coral reef is well worth trying - so many fish, sharks, turtles, rays etc and millions of beautiful fish. We understand that occupancy was around 85% whilst we were there, yet it always seemed tranquil, with hardly anyone on the beach and not overly busy in the restaurants and bar. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We’d like to particularly thank Ajija, Miurlan, Nishanka, Trimal and Rohim in the restaurant; Shibin, Litu in the bar; Irushad who looked after our room; and Agee on the beach.

This is the bedt resort I can stay well. wonderful beach and great food. excellent service in Azzurro restaurant. Thanks to LaiLa, Ziwan, and ToTTi. especially thanks to LaiLa, I feel comfortable during having a meal. I love Maldives and Angsana Velabaru.

We stayed at a beach villa with a infinity pool which was much used, our room was kept spotless by Ali who could not do enough for us, used the Sea plane to get us here which was great only thing was that our luggage came 3hrs later we were asked if we wanted to get anything out of them, we landed on time at 09.40 but didn’t take off in the Sea Plane until 14.00, I know they say there could be a wait but that was to long,

Absolutely fantastic! From arriving at Male airport we were met with a representative from Angsana Velavaru, taken to the Seaplane lounge where we were given refreshments before the boarding the flight to the Island, via a couple of stops. The employees at Angsana Velavaruwent above and beyond from the moment we got off the plane, a huge mention to Hathim who took care of us at every meal, nothing was ever too much trouble and he delivered the most fantastic guest experience. The island was beautiful and the accommodation and food to a really high standard. Sebastian the Manager was incredibly informative and helpful. We stayed on the island in a bungalow and next time plan to stay a few nights in the water houses. We will return as soon as we can, a perfect holiday.

Beautiful tropical island with comprehensive all inclusive package. Amazing snorkelling on reefs. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food good standard. Water sports equipment a little limited in quantity and tired. Seaplane transfers a great experience!
