Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru is definitely a 5-star resort. The team offered excellent service to guests and we were always greeted with smiles! Facilities and food were at premium standard. The spa was recommended to everyone who loves to be pampered by massage and body treatment. Thumbs up to all staff!

Magical Honeymoon in Paradise

We went to Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru for our honeymoon (first week of Sept – rained briefly two days, otherwise perfect weather), and it was even more magical than we imagined. From the airport boat taxi to every meal to departure process, the staff was impeccably attentive, polite, and friendly. The island is very private, pristine, and sustainable. We loved our beachside villa with a private pool, though the saltwater hotel pool at Madi Hiyaa is INCREDIBLE – feels like you are in the ocean. Speaking of Madi Hiyaa (Japanese restaurant), the food is amazing (dumplings, sushi, tofu) and award-winning architecture is stunning. We LOVED the breakfast buffet – ask them to cut fresh guava, mangoes, pineapple, passion fruit, papaya – truly nature’s candy. We were looking for a very relaxing environment, so we were fine with minimal activities – we enjoyed sunrise/sunset yoga with Dr. Sharma and kayaking around the island. 10/10 recommend and would love to come back.

Our stay at Banyan Tree was absolutely wonderful. A few key elements made it truly unforgettable: the island's natural beauty, the exceptional staff, and the spacious, comfortable rooms. While the rooms are a bit older, their layout and flow were just perfect. We enjoyed an exquisite dinner at the Japanese restaurant—everything from the wine to the food and service was fantastic. Snorkeling was a mind-blowing experience. Ali from the dive team was incredibly kind and attentive, guiding us on where to go and what to see. His attention made us feel special throughout our stay. A special thanks to Chika for making us feel so welcome and valued. We’ll definitely return—this is the kind of island you never want to leave. From our arrival at the airport to our departure, we were truly pampered. It was an amazing experience!
