Dear lurenji, We appreciate you choosing Banyan Tree Phuket as a resort destination for your New Year holiday. While the overall impression was disappointing, I am glad to note some positives – the Two-Bedroom Deluxe Pool Villa accommodation and the punctual and professional service from the team. Due to the policy of National Military Government we can provide only cushions and our beach staff are there offer you cold towel and beach towel. Umbrellas, sun loungers or permanent construction are prohibited. For that reason, restroom and outdoor shower is right at the entrance to the beach, but within the resort premises. I am also disappointed to hear of the cleanliness there was below our standard. House Keeping team are made aware of your feedback to focus more for that area. The beach access is 2 minutes from some villas and probably 10 minutes at the maximum from our furthest villa on a complimentary bicycle. Yes, there is a public road running along the back behind the property but, we have a traffic warden to assist with this and the road is extremely low traffic. I regret that the pool was cloudy and it coincided with your stay period, but, it has since been fixed. Although pH levels were closely monitored to ensure safety and hygiene, I can understand your comments. During this period, we offered the use of our sister property next door - Angsana’s swimming pool as well as 25% discount off the Food and Beverage there as a small token of apology. As for Turtle Kids Club, there are more than 10 of activities rotation with schedule for you to choose from so you can plan in advance ranging from Cookie Decoration, Fun Tennis Games, and other arts and crafts such as paintings and decoration. Aside from this guests also have access to Angsana’s large kid’s club, which is just a 5 minute shuttle ride away. I am very sorry that the above mentioned situation prevented you from fully enjoying your holiday. However, we remain hopeful that you would not let this single stay mar your perception of Banyan Tree Phuket and you will afford us another opportunity to serve you.
