I had posted this review two weeks ago but it seems network connection may have been lost as I posted it just before take off and I didn’t see it online. Whilst the hotel itself is a tad in need of updating I’m sold for choosing Swissotel Al Ghurair because of their fabulous staff! Mr Mir - I don’t have the right words with which to thank you. I’m grateful sincerely for your superb commitment to guest customer service and exemplary leadership. The reception front office staff - all of them - Suraya, the night manager, Merzouf, all superbly friendly and accommodating and I can’t not mention Mr Khalid and his team and breakfast. Always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. Grace at the spa made my day every time I went to the steam room always greeting and willing to help! Mr Tanveer at concierge is the most hard working genuine man I’ve ever met! He’s so efficient, so polite and so good with everything without ever asking for any extras that I truly believe he is an asset to the hotel! My housekeeping was fabulous - Mr Muhammad Seif whose speed at delivering items I needed made the house keeping efficiency top notch for me and last but definitely not the least my Mr Muhammad Ronaldo - my house keeping star! He not only cleaned my apartment in accordance with my requests for sanitizing etc - he always checked in on my well being and he is truly a gem. Overall the swissotel living staff live their tagline and whilst I was really afraid of being alone in a new country - the staff at this hotel made me feel at home and I genuinely felt like I have family here. I would choose the apartment again - and will choose it again - for the staff.
