We travelled to Rixos Premium Belek in July having seen great feedback and reviews online. Three of us - me, my mum and my 7yo son. We got private transport to the hotel, which took about 25 minutes. The hotel is surrounded by other hotels. No idea if there was anything within walking distance. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were instantly wowed. We received prosecco upon arrival as well as our pick of some macaroons. We were then asked to take a seat while we were checked in and shown to our room. It was a pretty basic room with a very small balcony overlooking the football court, but it was nice enough. The only issue we had with the room is that we arrived in the middle of a heatwave and the aircon didn't work. Someone came to fix it twice and it still didn't work properly. You are given a whatsapp room assistant who you can call upon for support. The resort is huge. It took us a while to navigate it. As the hotel is so big, I'm going to break the review down into chunks. Food - There were a number of ala carte restaurants and you could eat at one per stay (or per week - I'm not sure). Our whatsapp assistant booked us into them with no problem. Our favourite was the Asian restaurant, which did some incredible sushi. There's a 24 hour restaurant, which did ok food. Two Starbucks, which were fantastic. Freezers for you to help yourself to icecream, drink fridges around the pool and beach, snacks in Rixy club and two buffets - an outdoor one for lunch and the main indoor one. The buffets let the food down big time. Breakfast was fine. But for a buffet as big as this had, the food was awful. Activities - This hotel is great for family's with young children. I didn't see a huge amount for older kids. There are no water slides. But, the activities for younger kids was top tier. The Rixy club did some fantastic events and activities, such as canvas painting, squishy painting, a festival, face painting etc. My son was never bored. The Playstations helped! The evening entertainment was good, but there were not enough seats for the amount of guests. I loved the daytime pool bar entertainment. Hotel - The hotel was beautiful. Clean, well kept, and had a very pleasing decor and aesthetic. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Loved that the pool staff were on skates! Everyone was friendly and would try to make sure you had a good time. I didn't love how low down the sunbeds were around the pool, but I liked the group beds. Service could be a bit hit and miss depending on which part of the pool you sat around. We always found beds by 10am. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and found this to be value for money. Better buffet food would have made this 10/10, but as it stands it was a solid 9.

DO NOT STAY HERE: A Management Disaster and an Anti-Family Resort

I have traveled to Turkey many times and have always loved the hospitality, but our experience at Rixos Belek was hands down the worst holiday of my life. This hotel does not meet even the most basic European standards for a 5-star resort. Check-in & Room: Unacceptable Despite it being the winter season (low occupancy), we were placed in a noisy room with a terrible view of the back of the building. Instead of the double bed requested, we were given two singles. Basic amenities like body lotion were missing for three days despite requests. It seems management has no interest in distributing guests thoughtfully to ensure a pleasant stay. Service & Language Barrier: "Russian Only" Unless you speak Russian, do not come here. It is extremely difficult to find an English-speaking staff member. I shouldn’t have to learn a specific foreign language just to get service on my holidays. The AI Assistant & A La Carte Disaster Booking a restaurant is a nightmare. You are forced to use a poorly programmed AI assistant that is completely uninformed. If you ask for a human, you are left waiting for over 30 minutes. It is a cold, automated, and frustrating system that completely lacks a personal touch. Rixy Club & Safety: Not for Families This is marketed as a family resort, but it is anything but. The pools are either 20cm for babies or 140cm for adults—nothing in between for a 6-year-old to play safely, and no floaters are available. The Rixy Club was an extremely bad experience with "invented rules" that made no sense. Even bringing in a manager didn't help; the staff were rigid and unhelpful. The Ultimate Insult: New Year’s Gala As a single mother with a 6-year-old, I was told that for the New Year’s Gala, children are NOT allowed in the adults' hall. They told me we have to separate! Their excuse? "We have activities for children." My holiday is about spending time WITH my child, not being forced to leave him with strangers in a different room on New Year's Eve. This is heartless and discriminatory against single-parent families. The Only Exception The only shining light was the Asian restaurant staff and Chef, who showed true warmth and human kindness (the only people who actually spoke English and cared). Conclusion Rixos Belek is an overpriced, poorly managed factory that prioritizes automation and specific demographics over genuine hospitality and family values. If you are a European traveler or a single parent, stay away. I will never return.

My Mother and I stayed here again for annual Christmas getway. We have to mention that we were extremely satisfied with the service throughout our stay and felt exceptionally well taken care of at all times. From the very first moment, the overall impression and sense of well-being were fantastic. The entire resort is beautifully maintained, visually very appealing, and radiates a high level of comfort and quality. Service across the whole property is consistently positive and deserves special mention. The food quality was outstanding – both in the buffet restaurant and in the à la carte restaurants (although the portions are now significantly smaller than before;-) ). Everything was of very high quality, well presented, and enjoyable. We truly felt that nothing was missing, and whenever there was a request, it was taken care of within minutes. A very special mention goes to our assistant Deniz, who from day one supported us throughout our stay. She was always extremely quick to respond, consistently polite, patient, and genuinely friendly. What stood out most was her strong service mindset – she always thought one step ahead and did everything possible to ensure maximum comfort for us. On a personal level, Deniz was incredibly pleasant and approachable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The fact that she is Turkish delighted us as well, as it reflects the Rixos brand, its Turkish heritage, and its roots in a very authentic way. In addition, we would like to highlight a few other team members who impressed us greatly, even though we unfortunately do not know all their names: – the stretching trainer for the morning stretching classes (we were happy to see she is still part of the team, as in previous years), – the team captain at the Piazzetta Restaurant, who delivered truly outstanding service and was incredibly friendly and attentive, – the lady at the People Restaurant (Russian-speaking, if I recall correctly), who served us lunch on our departure day on 27 December and was absolutely fantastic, – and the slightly stockier gentleman with short brown hair at the Turquoise Restaurant, mostly in the adults-only area, who always greeted us warmly from afar and was consistently attentive. We genuinely looked forward to coming back to his section each time. From a more critical perspective, it was noticeable that compared to previous years, there are significantly fewer staff members of Turkish origin. We personally find this rather unfortunate, as Turkish hospitality is a core part of what Rixos stands for and what makes the brand so special. In our experience, there are also subtle differences in interaction: staff of Turkish origin tend to be noticeably warmer and more welcoming, whereas some of the Russian-speaking staff occasionally appeared less friendly or somewhat impatient when approached with requests. This was something we did not experience in the previous year. Another point we would like to mention concerns dress code compliance in the restaurants. While appropriate attire is communicated, especially for the à la carte restaurants (including in the reservation confirmations), it is unfortunately not consistently enforced. In our opinion, it does not align with the standards of a premium hotel to see guests in slippers, jogging trousers, sports jerseys, or beachwear in restaurant areas. We believe it is reasonable to expect guests to wear at least jeans, a T-shirt or shirt, and closed shoes. All in all, we had a truly wonderful stay. My mother and I felt extremely well looked after and enjoyed a fantastic holiday thanks to the outstanding service and overall quality of the resort. Many thanks to the entire team – especially to Deniz. We would happily return at any time.
