We are family with 2 children choose this hotel and stayed 2 nights in June. As the other review said the Hotel De La Sapa is one of the best hotel we stayed in Vietnam. Everything about this place was impeccable. Very comfortable bed, best the moutain view, spacious room. All staff were very kind helpful, profesional. Absolutely stunning architecture in this. Would stay here again in the near future

the best place to stay in sapa . staff were very attentive and all staff greeted us all around the hotel which was very nice . the pool boys were brilliant . getting drinks and snack for us . the only fault I can find is the reception entrance seems to be around the back of the building .

If you are second guessing if you will book this hotel… take this as a sign to just GO FOR IT and book your stay right now!! Hotel De La Couple is one of the best hotels I’ve been to… from the location, amenities, and accessibility.. it offers a lot of positivity to enjoy your relaxing break! The staff / reception / front desk are very friendly and approachable who speaks conversational English…. i highly recommend customer service given to us by Jacky (who have been very careful with our luggages and been absolutely great in recommending the places we need to visit!) Ivy and Henry (who accommodated our last minute requests booking Fansipan and Shuttle back to Hanoi). In general… everyone in the hotel had been super amazing and in my opinion looked were trained for customer satisfaction, the food in the hotel are also fab just a little pricey but makes for a tiring day…. All in all, I would go back to this place again definitely!!!!

The first time I came to Sapa and I stayed in room 735 and I had a really great experience here, the weather and the climate made me very comfortable and comfortable. Really nice hotel and great food. Not only that, thanks to the room staff Nhat Minh for showing me the specialty restaurants that I found very delicious and his communication ability was also quite good when he understood what I wanted. Thank you Mgallery, it was a great experience and I will definitely come back here again

Solo traveller from Singapore at the end of May 2023. Accor Gold, no free room upgrade. Booked first night at Classic room, and next 3 nights at Deluxe, but upon arrival was asked if I'd like to stay in the Classic for 4 nights so I did not have to change room. I had to prompt to say, perhaps, if you can check if i can stay at the Deluxe which i paid for 3 nights? No free room upgrade from Deluxe but no big deal. Stayed in room 831. Tried to ask for perhaps a room change to a view of the mountains, being a first timer to the hotel, but the room offered was right in front of a late night bar so decided to stick to 831 in the end. Maybe I need to book the suites next time. My first impression of the hotel was of Ivy at front desk whatsapping me ahead of my late night arrival to ask if i needed a towel. Much appreciated - however i thought it was a staff messaging chat that I could use for the next few days, but further messages after that day were not replied to. However, still kudos to Ivy for the initial contact, and Trong at the front desk for catering to all the various requests I had to do with my check out, booking my trip up to Fansipan etc. Make no mistake, am extremely impressed with the design and "hardware" of the hotel - Bill Bensley outdid himself with such an iconic hotel to go to. Tried the spa and was fantastic! However, as a global traveller, some suggestions could be made to elevate this experience to a truly 5 star - 1) very minor and most would not care, but spelling of the breakfast buffet items need to be looked at - Gouda cheese was Gauda, corn flakes was cornflaker, smoked was smocked, two different spellings of yogurt and yoghurt in the labels........ Don't get me wrong, I will definitely return to this hotel, as the staff are really trying, but perhaps this feedback is for upper management to see so that they can cascade this down to guide the front facing staff. 2) Staff need to smile more beyond the first "Xin Chao". I honestly did feel, as a solo travelling Asian woman, a little uncomfortable. There have been many hotels in the Accor chain where if i stayed at least 3-4 nights, staff would at least make the effort to call me by name or if they did not remember my name, ask some perfunctory questions. It could be due to language barrier - but still - if the aim is to be the best hotel in Sapa, these need to be looked into. Staff housekeeping, and room turn down service was great - very consistent - and I realized leaving the housekeeping staff messages on the notepad were extremely effective! I will definitely be back and looking forward to see if the hotel does get better and better, as it is a wonderfully designed property!
