My wife and I started in Nairobi for our safari around Kenya in September 2023. Fairmont is a great base for your Nairobi visit. A very colonially designed, elegant, and well maintained hotel, as expected given its history. The service and staff are second to none. We only had breakfast in the hotel and was a quality breakfast - one that filled us up and kept us going. There are vegetarian options. I would highly recommend Fairmont for your Nairobi stay.

Stayed here prior to a 16 day safari through the national parks of Kenya and Tanzania. First of all the food was really good esp. the breakfasts. The grounds were lovely with gorgeous flower gardens and a very nice pool area. The rooms were spacious and the bedding was extra nice with crisp cool sheets. It's truly a full service hotel and a nice way to start off and finish a African safari.

The check in process was smooth the Receptionist Kanja was very helpful. Accommodation was as expected. I'd like to give a very big thank you to the assistan reservation manager Samson for recommending this stay. Room 710 was amazing spacious and we also the extra bed. Cant wait to be back. Cheers.!!
