Stilvoll, Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir wissen nicht, wie die Auslastung des Hotels während unseres Aufenthaltes war. Für uns war es nicht überlaufen, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Ebenfalls positiv : Frühstück.

Ein geschichtsträchtiges, sehr dekadentes Hotel mit beeindruckender Architektur und viel Servicepersonal. Allerdings ist der gesamte Ablauf extrem langsam. Selbst einfache Bestellungen wie ein Kaffee dauern rund 10 Minuten, und ein Frühstück unter 30 Minuten ist kaum realistisch. Der große, schwere Zimmerschlüssel wirkt charmant, ist aber im Alltag unpraktisch, da man ihn ständig abgeben muss. Der Pool hingegen ist wunderschön eingebettet und definitiv ein Highlight. Für Geschäftsreisende ist das Hotel aufgrund des gemächlichen Tempos des Personals weniger geeignet. Zum Entspannen hingegen kann es passen. Ein weiterer Nachteil: Viele Staatsgäste und Diplomaten steigen hier ab, was regelmäßig zu zusätzlichem Trubel und Sicherheitsaufwand führt.
