Das gesamte Hotelpersonal war von Anfang bis Ende wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit. Leider war das Zimmer nicht wirklich toll. Das Bett meines Bruder quietschte die gesamten Nächte durch und auch wenn wir es der Rezeption gemeldet hatten, geschah nichts. Bett quietschte fröhlich weiter und ich fand keinen Schlaf. Später stellten wir fest, dass sich die Balkontüre nicht ganz schliessen lässt und auch die defekt war (die lies sich von allen Seiten öffnen, jedoch nicht fix schliessen). Das warme Wasser funktioniert leider auch nicht. Sprich es war tatsächlich ein sehr schlechtes Zimmer. Ebenso fanden wir es extrem schade, dass es morgens kein Buffet gab sondern nur eine Karte mit der bestellt werden konnte. Das Abräumen verlief auch harzig wie auch die Bestellung aufnehmen. Ich glaube, da sollte das Raffles nochmals über die Bücher.

That said, we are sincerely disappointed to learn that the condition of your room fell so far short of your expectations and of our own standards. Please accept our unreserved apologies for the disturbances you encountered, including the squeaking bed, the malfunctioning balcony door, and the lack of hot water. Most concerning is that these matters were not resolved after being reported, and for this we take full responsibility. Your feedback has been shared with our Engineering and Front Office teams, and we are taking immediate steps to ensure closer follow-up and more proactive resolution of reported issues. We also regret that our breakfast offering did not meet your expectations. While our à la carte breakfast is designed to provide a refined, made-to-order experience, we understand that this format may not suit every guest. Your comments regarding service flow and table clearing are appreciated and have been shared with our culinary and service leadership as we continue to review and enhance the morning dining experience. It is deeply disappointing to us that your stay was overshadowed by these shortcomings. We would welcome the opportunity to restore your confidence in Raffles Hotel Le Royal and to provide you with the exceptional stay you should rightly expect. Das Haus atmet die Geschichte und es ist ein richtiges "Grand Hotel" mit allen Annehmlichkeiten und Services. Natürlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber das macht den Charme des Hauses aus. Die Bar ist super!
