My overall stay at the Fairmont Baku Hotel was good. The hotel is beautifully designed and feels very luxurious, and the staff are polite and professional. However, there are a few areas that could be improved. The hotel charges for using the minibar even when it’s empty, which doesn’t seem reasonable. The breakfast selection was limited and mostly catered to Indian tastes. There was also no self-service coffee machine in the breakfast area, so guests had to ask the staff for coffee. Some in-room toiletries, such as cotton buds and shaving kits, were left open, which didn’t feel hygienic, and some simple amenities like a shower cap were missing. Overall, it’s a beautiful hotel, but for a five-star property, more attention to service details would make the experience much better.

I had a terrible experience at the fairmont, i asked to get the points for my restaurant visit and they said they weren’t participating in this scheme, i pointed out how the official accor and fairmont website said otherwise. This turned a small issue worth 4 euro into a huge issue as the manager on duty elmaddin was extremely rude and angry at me for questioning him on this, even though it was official accor and fairmont policy. He was extremely dismissive and rude and argumentative causing a huge scene in the lobby all over the small issue of a few points rightfully earned on my dinner bill. When the restaurant manager intervened with an amicable solution elmaddin then went out of his way to make discrimatory comments and be rude to me. How is he a manager at your hotel. I have had much much better treatment at much worse hotels. I had an amazing time at fairmont, i had amazing service, until i got to the point of paying the bill and elmaddin was involved, what a sour taste for fairmont and accor. This terrible experience i am sharing so everyone knows to avoid fairmont baku until they resolve their service and management issues.

The hotel has some positives – the lifts are very efficient, the curtains keep the room nicely dark, and overall service is good with pleasant staff. However, as a top-tier Accor member I was disappointed not to receive an upgrade, which I’ve experienced at other Fairmonts. The room had some noise issues from outside lights or railings, which affected comfort. I also tried the dinner buffet – it was fine, but nothing memorable. Overall, while the stay was decent, I’ve had better Fairmont experiences elsewhere.

Fairmont Baku located in famous flame towers of Baku is one of the best hotels I stayed so far. Fenomenal view friendly and helpful staff ( especially restaurant staff deserves a n applause for hospitality ) . Spa area can do better with maintenance and renovation especially at mist room but overall fine . I also recommend Jazz club which has a very good ala carte menu and drinks . Not to mention very good location only takes 15 minutes to reach popular areas by car . Keep up the good work .
