I have stayed at this hotel many times. Each time has been excellent. Everything from the bellman greeting you on the lower level to check out was perfect. The bellman and check-in staff were very helpful and courteous. when I opened the door to the room, soft music was playing which was very welcome after a long day of travelling. The Jetside bar has a relaxed atmosphere and live music nightly. The staff were friendly and helpful. I call this place "Home" when I travel through Vancouver.

We had an early flight so we decided to stay at the Fairmont the night before! We had a runway view and our 6-year old was pumped that he had a robe waiting for him in the room! We also visited the lounge for appies and wine, and the service and food was exceptional.

We were so grateful to stay at this wonderful hotel before and after our trip. The convenience is worth every penny. The rooms are well appointed and incredibly comfortable. To get off the plane and step into a lovely robe and slippers, into a comfortable clean bed, the Fairmount is a step above and it shows in every thoughtful detail. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when traveling through YVR.

Well located. Always a great experience at any Fairmont hotel. The cookies and sparkling water was a nice touch The lobby bar is a relaxing spot with creative cocktails and warm vibe Being a part of the YVR airport is a definite plus for early morning travellers. Delightful

There is sound proofing but the rooms are not sound proof. You can still hear the planes and airport noise. Normally I would expect a complimentary cookie or something in room to go with the coffee - instead we were charged an extortionate amount for a tiny box of pringles. There was a leak from a panel above the bath into the bath which left a dirty water stain and put us off using the bath. Some of the bedside usb chargers didn't work . When booking I understood breakfast was included. It was only when we arrived that it was actually a "credit" and it was only for one person despite paying for the room for two people (myself and my teenager).
