Disappointing Thanksgiving Stay We stayed at this hotel on Thanksgiving Day, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, the bellman told us our luggage would be delivered in about 10–20 minutes, which was reasonable. However, it ended up taking over an hour. We tried calling the front desk multiple times, but could only get through once—and even that took nearly 10 minutes of waiting. We had our baby with us and urgently needed to change a diaper, but we couldn’t because our luggage hadn’t been delivered. It made the situation stressful and uncomfortable. The hotel was extremely busy, and it showed. The pool water looked filthy, and the sofa bed linens were dirty, which caused skin irritation after we sat on it. These are basic things we didn’t expect to have issues with. Overall, the service was below average, and the stay fell far short of our expectations. We stayed here last year and had a much better experience, so this was especially disappointing.

If you were contemplating staying in downtown, Seattle forget the W come across the street to the Fairmont. One of the most lively bars in downtown clean rooms, comfortable bedding, swimming pool and right now is decorated to the nines for Christmas.

A huge shoutout to Mr Lieu at the front desk for accommodating my family with smooth check in process with his amazing pleasing personality, for Ms. Ana and Ms. Jeremy for guiding us and being patient while taking our picture during the Christmas Bear Room tour. Forgot to take the name of the housekeeping supervisor /lead, you are amazing mister. You’re all amazing. Me and my family really appreciate you all. Gorgeous hotel but gets overcrowded during the holidays

Overall it is important to town and it's a great place to visit and enjoy during the holidays. It is a great location and a fun experience but it can get very during the holidays and the overall ambience is going to be reduced because of the crowds. We also had an afternoon tea in the lobby, but had to wait a long time standing around despite an explicit reservation. The staff works very hard to give a great experience and admit it is a little pricey but it is a fun experience to add to an afternoon Seattle.
