Thanks for ruining date night. For over 20 years, we have treated ourselves to a night at the Chateau Laurier after our corporate event. We look forward to coming downtown close to Christmas to visit the Market and shop at the Rideau Centre. You can imagine our surprise when we entered the room to find two double beds instead of the king size we requested. Your rooms are not cheap; I paid $400 for a king size bed and received doubles. Needless to say, they are too small to fit two. I called the front desk and received unsympathetic lip service from your staff, who insisted there was nothing they could do - they could care less. We tried not to let this ruin our evening, but it definitely put a damper on it. No problem, never again. Next year we will Uber home and spend our money locally.

We decided to stay in Ontario and visit Ottawa. We had chosen the gold level accommodation and were upgraded to a larger room the Parliament Suite which was very spacious. We could view the Ottawa River, Parliament Hill and Hull, Quebec. We enjoyed the gold level lounge which we had the breakfast and evening canapés.

The tour was fabulous! Very interesting and informative. A beautiful and historical piece of architecture!!! The tour guide Emily however, needs to reconsider her attire (wore nylons/tights on an extremely hot day). She was constantly pulling, prodding and poking at herself. It was in poor taste and very distracting for myself as a guest.

Bedbugs in my room and cockroaches in my food.

Title says it all. I checked out at 1am in the first night of my 3 night reservation. The room I was staying in was tiny and dingy with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. In the middle of night, I turned on a light and saw beetle like creatures emerge from the crown molding. I packed my bags as quickly as I could and left. I returned to the hotel for a business conference a day later, and found a live cockroach on my breakfast plate.

Following your departure, our team immediately inspected the room in question. The inspection revealed a single ladybug and no evidence of any other insects or pests. Further, we have never had a sighting of any insect or pests in our food or on our plates and are quite surprised and distressed by your report. We understand, however, that this experience caused you great discomfort, and for that we sincerely apologize. Please know that the comfort, safety, and peace of mind of our guests remain our highest priorities. Bad Service in the Restaurant, Old Hotel!

Stayed for one night and the room was OK. The bathroom was tiny and the bath and shower were old. the dinner we had at Zoes was just very disappointing. Very slow service which spoiled the experience even though the food was quite good. At the end we were forgotten and never got our coffee and desert! When we finally got up from the table in frustration, we paid the bill and went to our room. Five minutes the waiter arrived at the door with the coffee and desert. This did not really help. Poor service. The brunch the next morning for $42 was just not worth it. Cold coffee, cold food and poor service.

We sincerely regret the disappointments you shared during your recent stay with us. Rest assured that your experience is certainly not typical of our usual high level of service.
