We had afternoon tea at the plaza and it was wonderful! Our server was Shalim and he treated us as if we were residents of the plaza. The food was wonderful and they had a separate tea menu for my gluten allergy. This is a must do in NYC! Book in advance so you can get a spot.

We had the afternoon tea in Palm court. Our waiter was Fariz and he was excellent. Great selection of sandwiches and cakes. Lovely tea. Great environment. Pity they let people sit around the bar drinking, many were not adhering to the dress code and were very loud.

We had the most amazing time! The food, tea, and champagne were delicious. Our server, Fariz, made the experience so special. He was so accommodating and kind. I highly highly recommend this experience! It was one of my favorite parts of our trip.

Fariz is the best server I have ever had anywhere. My mom and I came for her birthday and my graduate school graduation. He is so kind and attentive. He created the most magical experience and made my first tea perfect. I will definitely be coming back and asking only for Fariz.

Afternoon Tea was a very pleasant experience. The service was incredible. The food was so-so but the sconces were wonderful - almost biscuit like. I was asked if I wanted a top off of champagne and was charged for a full glass which was a touch misleading, but the experience was so nice that it wasn’t a problem.
