To Whom It May Concern, I wanted to share how truly impressed I was with with Kayin Lewin during our recent stay at The Plaza Dec 4th-7th. We met him in the Champagne Bar, and from the moment we arrived, he brought such joy, warmth, and genuineness to the space. He works hard even when no one is looking, and his smile and attitude make guests feel completely at ease. As a restaurant owner, I immediately recognized how rare that kind of natural hospitality is. Kayin is the type of person who makes an entire room better just by being in it, and we would be thrilled to have employees like him. His presence alone made our stay memorable—we would come back to The Plaza just to see him again. I wholeheartedly believe Kayin would excel as a waiter and that he more than deserves any opportunity for advancement. Warmly, Cindy Mandina

We had such a great afternoon tea experience. It was busy but Shamim was excellent checking in on us and making sure we were ok (despite being somewhat difficult and needing to move spots twice). Tea was delicious and sandwiches were also enjoyable, though I wasn’t crazy about the macarons (foie gras filling seemed strange against the sweetness of the macaron). Overall would recommend!

Absolutely magical!!!! The plaza is just like you would imagine it to be. The staff is amazing, but we especially had the most amazing experience with Rolando Flores (our in room dining server) we ordered breakfast every morning and he was always the one here. He was always cheerful, always asked us what we had did and what we were doing next. Just the sweetest person and such a wonderful way to start our day seeing him every morning. Thank you for your kindness. We can not wait to return.

The experience was great. There’s only one issue that I had and it was that our server put champagne in my nonalcoholic champagne, and I tasted champagne accidentally. I tried to not freak out and ruin the rest of the experience for everyone else but it did make my body go into a shock.
