Great location to relax and get up close with Lake Louise. After a hectic year, just needed to be with snow and nature. Attentive non-intrusive excellent service. Afternoon tea was great as was dinner and breakfast on site. Two nights … well worth the money spent.

It is an incredible hotel located in the most picturesque Lake Louise. I would like to thank the receptionist who checked us in; she was amazing and really friendly. Everything was perfect, and the staff were wonderful and resourceful. The location is breathtaking—something to die for. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I have committed to myself to come back again in two years to celebrate my birthday in 2026. We truly love this property.

This hotel is just WOW! We had booked a suite and was upgraded to a larger one bedroom suite on check in. With the suite you get a private concierge who was on call if you need anything. In the two nights we were at the hotel I received 2 text messages just checking in and Naval came and introduced himself during breakfast on day 1. It’s a lovely touch and while we didn’t need them for anything I’m sure they would have assisted us in a moment. Self parking was under ground - it wasn’t completely closed off to the elements but did help keep the car warmer than it would be parked outside. There were multiple doors from the hotel to different areas of the car park so you could position the car close to your room. The suite was huge with a hallway as you entered the room with a closet. The bathroom has a separate tub to the shower, the tub has very deep and a double vanity. The bedroom could be separated to the living area by sliding doors. The bedroom and living room both have TVs and whilst they call it a cooling fridge, it kept all drinks cold! The suite also had a full size Christmas tree. Both check in and check out was quick and efficient but also very friendly. The view from the room was amazing of lake Louise. The hotel does not allow visitors to the lake to use bathroom facilities etc so will need room key if wanting to visit bathrooms through out the hotel. Breakfast was good. The first morning the pastry offerings were not being refreshed regularly so everything was taken from guests. It took some time for the restaurant team to see this but when they did they rectified it quickly. There are several restaurants within the hotel and the menu for each restaurant varies but meals on offer can be a little fancy when you may just want something hot, and yum, comfort food! The inroom dining menu offers just this and was great! The hotel is amazing, want to go back during summer months. If you are looking for an extra special experience, I would highly recommend booking the Fairmount Lake Louise.

Beautiful place. Just as the photographs depict. Excellent breakfast. only negative re food: insufficient vegetarian/vegan options, particularly in the most expensive/luxurious restaurants which was disappointing, so we went elsewhere. Superb quiet room with 2 windows overlooking the iconic lake. Staff and service all excellent.

First off the staff were at the spa were all really nice. A couple of things impacted my score significantly. First off, we asked the valet if we could park and be validated, and he said no and that our parking would cost $55. This is actually not the case. It turns out they actually do validate parking. Second, the pool and other amenities are about a 5 minute walk through the hotel. Walking through a hotel in a robe and slippers is not ideal, comfortable, or 5 star quality. Finally, thirdly, the conditions of the changeroom and the pool area are very, very, very low for a Fairmont. The changeroom is tiny. There are only two very basic shower stalls - my shower head and handle were broken. Also, you're sharing this space with the other hotel guests who are coming in with little kids - it's chaotic and it's tiny. I would not recommend this spa at all if you're going for an authentic spa experience. If you are simply looking for a massage or facial only, it is a service they provide (do not count on amenities).
