I had a great experience at Fairmont Dallas. It was my first time, but it will be my hotel of choice when I'm in the Dallas area. It is a very clean hotel, the rooms are spacious, there is a great location, and the food is great. I used room service for breakfast and I will put it on the scale with The Wynn, Las Vegas. All of the staff members were courteous, professional, and helpful.

Nowhere Near a "Premium" Experience from a Premium Brand

For being a "premium" brand, this property left much to be desired. Waiting 2 hours for a room after checking in at 2PM, then going to the desk to check and finding out I "should have been texted some time ago" that my room was ready ... things did not start well. The room was clean. The sink and toilet leak. The staff were not welcoming nor did they greet me when we passed. Functionally, the property was workable. Other than that, just an unremarkable place. I would not come back here by choice.

We stayed on the gold floor. The attention to detail, the accommodations, and most of all the staff in the lounge were great! Lots of options for breakfast and/or snacks, comfy areas to chill, and great valet service! The evening desserts were a nice treat.

Despite being a vip client, was dissapointed with the quality of breakfast, especially the buffet, made a comment but was ignored. During checkout I was told that the FB manager would reach out, but still haven’t heard anything back. When i would ask questions regarding breafast (what was included based on being vip) each person would tell me something different. One of the chips available in the room were open and stale. On the other side, I really appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel, employees were nice, and the hotel has a great location.
