Stayed on two different nights travelling in and out of South Island and what I loved about this hotel is its proximity ti the airport making it easy for late arriving and early leaving flights. Room was comfortable and spacious, staff were very friendly and helpful, room service was delivered by robot.

Rather expensive but worth it for location, rooms and restaurant.

Bloody expensive but excellent location - 2-3 min walk to the airport. Room was lovely - spacious, decent beds and linen, spotless and well appointed. The restaurant and bar area are beautiful and the food was fantastic. Our group of 9 all had meals they were very pleased with. We had just finished a 6 day trip staying in decent accommodation and eating in nice enough restaurants, but this was next level. A really nice way to end the trip to be honest. I can honestly say my meal was the best of the holiday! Salmon on pea risotto was to die for. Only niggle was the self-service check-in screen. We queued to check in for a while then saw the self-service option. After tapping away, inputting all our details, it didn’t find our reservation so had to go back to the queue. No biggie but I figure if the system’s not robust, maybe take it out and just continue with normal face to face check-ins. Shower head kept slipping down the pole to waist level which was a nuisance but for one night it wasn’t worth reporting - we left at 5am. Not entirely sure the front desk took much notice when we told them on check-out so hope. They may have just been as sleepy as we were! I’ll baulk at the cost again next time but now I know it’s worth staying there for the convenience factor. If your budget will stretch to it, I’d recommend.

So einen tollen Ausblick direkt auf Start - und Landebahn hatte ich noch nie. Dennoch war das Zimmer absolut ruhig. Lage top, 3 Minuten bis zum Eingang der Abfertigungshalle. Restaurant ebenfalls hervorragend und mit schönem Blick im 6. Stock.

Bij de entree wordt je niet welkom geheten en kijken ze je aan van wat doe jij hier, heel onvriendelijk en totaal niet klantvriendelijk. De kamer was wel mooi maar de wifi verbinding dramatisch. We bleven hier een nachtje zodat we de volgende dag op tijd waren voor onze vlucht. De locatie daarvoor is top gezien het hotel naast de airport ligt. Het ontbijt was lekker maar het diner viel tegen, kleine portie en een van de gerechten was niet lekker.

Prima hotel als je kunt verwachten van een Novotel. Kwam zeer vroeg aan wegens een intercontinentale vlucht en kreeg direct een kamer wat geweldig was. Fijne douche, prima bed, rust (je hoort niets van het vliegveld) en goed internet. Het voldoet dus aan alle eisen die een zakenreiziger stelt aan een hotel.
