Mercure Tetovo 5 gwiazdki

The hotel is located right next to a mall, so the area is quite busy. Central location in Tetovo. The hotel is advertised as a five star property. While the rooms and the staff are really nice, a five star hotel should have spa-wellness area... The meeting rooms are OK, but lack some attention from the staff in order to run a proper meeting. Overall, I had a great stay, but some adjustments should be made that reflect the true list of services and amenities.

Mercure tetovo is probably the newest hotel in town, well situated in the centre. Hotel looks new and clean. It has a skybar on top of the building. I was upgraded to a "suite" , not sure what makes it a suite, maybe the two chairs in the room? Rooms is carpeted, aircon, sat.tv, minibar, kettle coffee/tea (not restocked)comfy bed, and strong wifi throughout. Bathroom massive with shower and toiletries. If you dont ask for a cleaning you migt be waiting for clean towels well into the afternoon. You can not be sure that shampoo is restocked either. Breakfast is served from 6:30 on the 2nd floor restaurant, cold warm items on offer and plenty of it. Good quality. Unfortunately there is no selfservice for coffee, so if staff is sitting on the smoking terrace chatting, you might end up having your coffee when you have finished your meal. Unless you make it yourself in the room or buy it next door. Had a few meals which were good quality and well priced, afternoon server were absolutely fantastic and serviceminded. Front desk staff friendly and helpful.

Tetovo is a very small city, and tbh unless you have family, friends, and or business to do in the city, no real reason for an extended stay. However, as I always invest time into researching new destinations, I spent 14 days at the Mercure Hotel in Tetovo. This was my first stay at an Accor property, and my first time in Tetovo. I have to admit, this hotel has many good elements to it. The staff are exceptional. The front desk / reception, the restaurant and the housekeeping were all very professional and provided top-quality service. The restaurant, Malabana, was the only restaurant in the entire city of Tetovo that did not permit smoking inside, served alcohol, and accepted credit cards (if you did not want to add the cost to your room bill). The restaurant staff, including Mentor and Goran as well as the others whose names I did not know, were the best in the city. The room was very small, but they also offer suites. The bed was amazing, and the TV offered a few very good English language channels. The hotel shares the building with the ReMall Shopping Mall and you can enter and exit into the mall through the restaurant. So on rainy days, you can still leave the hotel, and go walk around the mall. On nice days, the hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the larger Palma Mall. Checking in and checking out was very easy and quick. The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from/to the bus station, or a 1 Euro taxi ride, (50 Macedonian Dinar). Unfortunately, the hotel does not offer a gym. There is a roof top bar, and as the Mercure is the tallest building in the city, it provides a dramatic 360 degree view of the region. Be advised though, smoking is permitted there, and I was unable to enjoy the roof top bar due to the unbelievable amount of smoke that filled the bar. The menu is small but very nice, and delicious. Enjoy the local Raki, it was very good. There is no draft beer in the entire city of Tetovo, but the local bottle beer is good. All in all, I am not sure if I will ever return to the city of Tetovo, but if I do, I can guarantee it will be with the Mercure Hotel.

I was there 2 days with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed over there. I was in tetovo last time 5 years ago and this time I seen this hotel and it was really amazing and too much for tetovo city! New hotel and rooms are really clean! Location is really good and there is cool bar up in the room and I especially thank to guys in reception. They were really lovely and friendly. Bujamin,Cengiz, Albert and Angela are awesome stuffs. And I also want to thank to security man Bice Bice. I will definitely be back and stay there next time...

I arrived there with a tour agency group from tirana. The room was Spacious, good wifi, and a fantastic view.The staff was very friendly. The food in the restaurant was very delicious. I really enjoyed my time in mercure.
