Bed was clean but the room itself was grubby, the bathroom was ancient with an old chipped bath. It looks as though nothing has been done with decor or furnishings since about 1990. Wi-fi was down and I was there on business so had meetings and had work to do which was extremely inconvenient. Not impressed at all. Will not return.

Cheap and good value, good location and friendly staff. Sounds good? I guess it is. But this is supposed to be a Mercure and it's not to the standard of the brand. The double room looked nothing like the picture on the booking site. View of not much at the back of the building. Dated bathroom, good shower and bath. No electric socket next to the bed table. Wonky TV leaning to one side which I had to support with a folded towel. Poor TV software and channel selection. Old carpets with folds in them. Creaky floorboards. Creaky headboard. Poor finishing. Breakfast is ok, lacks more healthy options, more yoghurt, more prepared fruit, nuts, seeds, brown bread. The restaurant is ok, it's more of a bar with a menu. Staff is friendly and helpful, felt a bit thin on the ground.

I chose this hotel based on location and price. Excellent service and a very cozy, beautiful interior made the stay at this hotel very pleasant. The staff is friendly and helpful. The view from the window of the buildings and sculptures is wonderful

Beautiful hotel ,clean cosy room ,excellent dinning in the evening plenty of choice and the food was amazing The breakfast was endless well worth every penny I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying there again
