This design is intentionally part of the hotel’s artistic concept, offering a unique stay experience rather than a traditional room setup. As such, some rooms in this category do not have an outward-facing view and instead highlight the mural artwork as part of the room’s atmosphere. We’re also pleased to hear that you enjoyed our rooftop facilities, including the swimming pool and restaurant. Das Hotel überzeugt auf ganzer Linie: Die Zimmer sind äusserst sauber, ruhig und sehr komfortabel eingerichtet – ideal zum Entspannen nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal: herzlich, aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit. Die Lage mitten in der Malioboro ist unschlagbar – zentral, lebendig und doch angenehm ruhig. Wir waren anfänglich enttäuscht darüber, dass das Zimmer nicht für 4 Personen vorbereitet war. Das Sofa für die Kinder wurde erst auf Nachfrage hin bezogen. Die Matratze bekamen wir erst auf erneute Nachfrage ab der 2. Nacht. Danach gab es wenig zu bemängeln. Die Lage ist super, der Room Service sehr gut und die Sauberkeit und das Frühstücks-Buffet waren auch toll. Wie man allerdings auf die Idee kommen kann, die Toilette ohne Tür oder Trennung quasi direkt ins Wohnzimmer zu bauen, verstehe ich nicht. Die Schiebetür zwischen Bad und Wohnraum hält weder Schall noch Gerüche zurück. Allein deshalb würde ich wahrscheinlich nicht wieder kommen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

This is our second stay in the hotel, since our kids enjoyed the last stay so much. The hotel offers a roof top pool (which in combination with a milk shake) is just irresistible for the kids. The breakfast offers a wide option on traditional local foods, which you should try and eat through. There are also the fresh fruits, which are great. The staffs in the restaurant are helpful and would inform you, if you need some help with the "exotic" foods. We are pleasantly surprised, because we our reservation also included a photo shooting with traditional clothing, which I didn't realize. The hotel included our kids spontaneously, even though it was actually only for 2 people. The staff accompanied us all the time and was very helpful. Satrio even printed the photos for my in-laws.
