Perfect choice if in Paris with a budget…!!

Nicely located.. 3 min walk to Repulique metro station which has 5 connecting metro lines. So benefit of staying here is that 8/10 times you will not need to change the metro to reach your final destination. Changing metro lines in Paris is a long walk remember that….. Rooms are newly made, clean , minimum stuff which makes room a decent size (AS PER IBIS STANDARDS) Staff is courteous and helpful. They are responsive and are available 24/7. They are flexible in terms of breakfast. You pay as per you avail be it number of days or number of guests. No compulsion to opt in everyday or for every guest. This is the best way you can decide. Special shout out for LYES.. he is a gem…. Haven’t seen someone so polite and soft spoken. He will go a long way in this industry… wish him all the best.

Great Small hotel

Poor quality hotel

This hotel is not really 3* more like 2*. It is old and my room was nothing like the picture. It had a disabled bathroom that I did not ask for. It was at the back with a depressing view over pipes and a grubby internal courtyard. The room was dark and depressing, think Philip Larkin’s “Mr Bleaney”. I thought it was one of the worst value hotels rooms I’ve stayed in, even in Paris a city notorious for the poor quality of its hotels. I’d avoid.

Hi, We'd like to thank you for having taken your time to share your experience with the community though the wrong negative and wrong assumptions. We'd like to point out that this is a 3*** hotel as stated by the plaque shown outside the hotel and it is in line within the French law for surface and services for a 3*** hotel in Paris. The pictures on the website are those of some rooms, not all the rooms, perhaps your room was not one of those and yes as stated you got a room with bathroom for a disabled person in which the only difference is a much bigger surface, no shower doors and handles next to the toilet. If you were not satisfied with the room you could have just talk to the reception... did you?. Last, but not least the hotel is in a building from the 19th century, so yes.. the building is old as most in Paris, but the hotel was completely restricted in 2017 when it was bought by IBIS to turn it into a hotel so it can't be that old. We wish you had safe travels back home .

We'd like to point out however that while it is true that rooms' surface in Paris is rather small compared to other cities/countries not only as to hotels, but also restaurants, apartments, etc and our rooms are within the required surface and services by the French law as to a 3*** hotel. First off, I absolutely love this neighborhood. The 11th, to me, is the perfect area in Paris to stay. And I’d stay at this Ibis again based on that alone. As far as the hotel itself, it was good. My first floor room was small but comfortable and had a nice view of the neighborhood. Everything worked. There isn’t much luggage storage space but that’s ok. The front desk was a mixed experience. The woman who checked me in was really kind and efficient. But I found the men who worked the front desk to be a bit… unfriendly? Unwelcoming? All in all a good budget hotel in a fantastic part of Paris. As I said, I’d stay again and generally recommend.
